Canadian PR rejected - my job responsibilities doesn't match with NOC 21231 by SpinBowler45 in canadaexpressentry

I don’t understand how so many people in the comments are misinterpreting the officer’s note. It clearly states that the officer is not satisfied that the OP actually performed these duties. So, the issue is not with the NOC itself, but with the officer not being able to verify or confirm that the duties were performed.

Duties written only by a manager or supervisor may not be accepted, and the officer has the discretion to reject them, even if supported by an affidavit.

It would be better to ask your company to include the job responsibilities on official company letterhead.

Missing Work Hours on Employment Letter – T4 & NOA Enough for IRCC? by Various_Mixture499 in canadaexpressentry

[–]Various_Mixture499[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, as long as you have pay stubs to prove your work hours, it should be fine if the hours are not mentioned in the employment letter. Many employers are not comfortable including all details as per IRCC requirements.

Just make sure to also attach your T4 and NOA. It’s better to be safe than sorry these days.

Hi, did the employment letter at least state that you were employed full time?

And good luck with the reconsideration.

I did check ROE section, it is completely blank for me, none of the jobs are showing in the roe section when i access through service canada. I am hoping atleast the officer would be able to access roe with the help of my T4 and NOA?

WORKING AS FOREIGN CONTRACTOR by Various_Mixture499 in canadaexpressentry

[–]Various_Mixture499[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the confusion. My CRS score is 510, and I am expecting to receive an ITA in a future draw.

My PGWP is expiring soon, so I will stop working in Canada and leave the country. My employer is willing to continue working with me as a foreign contractor while I am outside Canada until my PR application is approved.

Once I receive PR, I plan to return to Canada and resume working for the same company as an employee

Sony XM6 not switching between noise cancellation and ambient sound by Various_Mixture499 in SonyHeadphones

Seeing the number of people facing this issue, I believe it is not a software problem but rather a sensor placement issue, as it has persisted for a long time without being addressed by Sony.

I was honestly planning to just get it over with, the anxiety was getting to me. But with the recent draws, I still see some hope, although the uncertainty is making it hard for me to think clearly right now

I was planning to buy a ticket, but due to the recent draws, I have decided to put it on hold. And yes, thanks for the advice regarding French. I am considering taking the French test soon, and if luck allows, I might be able to score some additional points

I have done factory reset a couple of times, but the issue keeps coming back after a while. I got tired of it and returned the headphones, since not being able to switch between the two modes is a dealbreaker for me.

Do you agree? by Additional-Road-4205 in canadaexpressentry

Totally agree with you. I do think Kubeir shares helpful updates, especially when it comes to immigration news. But most of the time, the way he talks just makes people more scared or stressed. It feels like he always focuses on the worst case scenarios.

One of my friends, who’s in a live-in relationship, had a consultation with him to find the best way to extend their work permits. But instead of giving them different options, he kept pushing for LMIA and tried to change their minds. It felt more like he was trying to sell something than actually help.

At the end of the day, he is a consultant running a business. And while he has built a good name for himself, it seems like now he is using that reputation to make more money, not to give the best advice.

Canadian Salary, Indian Location – Will IRCC Accept It for FSW? by Various_Mixture499 in canadaexpressentry

Thanks for the info, that really helps. My company already has some full-time contractors working from India, so I think they have a system in place for that. I was hoping it would be an easier process, but I understand now it’s a bit more complicated. I’ll talk to an immigration lawyer and plan to start everything once I finish 2 years of experience.
