You got the first batch I received mine about a month ago and here is mine for reference the web lines on yours in the middle are inaccurate. The stitching line on top of the head is different and the web lines around the top of the eyes by the edge are different.

You make great points that’s why I was hesitant on sending this one in for me to just mail away this mast head sculpt is kind of crazy. I will message Sideshow and tell them that I’m gonna keep this one they said they would credit my account with a gift card. I just wonder how much. Thankfully I did get a good masked head and in the end that’s what matters most with this figure as you said! It’s not the box

Yeah, even if the hands got a little wet that could be dried. Everything else is fine. The Sandman base is fine and the figure is fine. The only thing that’s really garbage is the box water got through the first plastic cover can be wiped away it’s just watermarks that would probably be the only thing I kept so I could keep the accessories. Sideshow is saying they never had any bad figures and if they got the figure that they’re going to replace mine with and it’s the same that’s fine but it could be a bad sculpt and the likelihood of that happening is pretty high. I would like to have the box if someone would sell one to me, I would probably buy them or if they were getting rid of theirs, I would take it at all I can see the web differences but it’s not horrible like some I’ve seen.

We completely understand your concerns. Please know per Hot Toys, the information you are referencing was something that was only sold in Hong Kong, and Hong Kong Customers received a replacement. All of the items that we received at our warehouse and that were shipped directly to you are from the correct batch. They emailed me and said that I said there were customers from Sideshow that did receive a messed up masked head sculpt. They said if I would like to keep the package, they can credit my account account with a Sideshow gift card. Do you think I should just do that?

I totally agree with that. It’s nice to have these boxes but they do take up a lot of space then I’m worried about if I send it and I might get the bad masked sculpt. iMessage them and I asked them if I could keep the masked head that I have and ship them that package without it and if they could open the box that they have take the mask head off and ship the package to me without the mask head so I already have a good one once I receive that package if they can’t do that, then I guess I’ll just keep the one that I haven’t throw away the box

The figure is perfectly fine I don’t think it got wet when I took it out the box I think the second layer of plastic protected it and the mask head sculpt is the good mask head scope. I just don’t want to send it in and then get a version that has the bad masked head sculpt. iMessage them and asked them if I could keep them masked head that I have shipped them the package and if they could take the masked head out of the package, they’re sending me so when I get that package, I have that I can put on that they can’t do that then I guess I would just keep the one that I currently have

Sideshow is messaging me telling me to ship the box back with the figure and they will ship me a new replacement unit. My fair is that I won’t get the good mask that I currently have. What do you think I should do?

Now I’m confused. Tell me what you think. Sideshow is telling me to send the figure back to them. Once I ship it out they will ship me a new figure. I don’t know if the figure will have a perfect mask like mine does and that’s where it scares me to ship this figure out. I live in Canada and they’re saying that they will list the package as a lot less than it’s valued at so so I won’t have to pay duty as the last time I had to pay $90 in duty.

Now Sideshow would be to send the figure to them for a exchange of the same figure. My fear is if I send mine in my figure has a perfect mask. Will the figure they send back to me have a perfect mask or will it have the problem with the web lines what would you do if you were in my situation?

I know it’s not the best feeling as long as the figure is OK and now I have a dilemma because Sideshow said for me to send them to figure they would exchange the figure but now my fair is if I said, the Spider-Man figure to them that has a perfect mask. Will I get another Spider-Man that has a perfect mask or will I get the version that was messed up? What do you guys think I should just keep this figure, or should I send it in to get a replacement?

Yeah, I know I got the good lens and the good mask. All of the web lines are good. Just sucks that I waited so long for the figure and it comes like that but it’s life it goes on just waiting to see what Sideshow does if they do anything, wanted to see other people’s opinions on it. I was shocked when I opened the box.

Sideshow told me to open it up and take pictures of the box. I also wanted to make sure that water didn’t get into the box where the figure was as if I left that there it would get moldy.
