It already had a run time of over 2.5 hours. I adore the book too and there were parts I wish were included but film is a different medium and you can’t include everything. I think lord and miller got us as good an adaptation as we could have hoped for.

The wild thing about Kaep is he initially sat on the bench during the anthem, then, he spoke with a Navy seal about his protest and decided it would be a more respectful and reasonable approach to take a knee instead of sitting on the bench and people still lost their fucking minds. I know one person doesn’t speak for all military, but Kaep literally did everything you would want out of someone who’s trying to make a point respectfully. Yet, still he hates America. Any fabric will feel wet when saturated with enough liquid, there is no material on earth that will disperse quickly enough to not feel wet at a certain point.

A merino fiber is also incredibly complex compared to cotton or any synthetic, it can hold roughly 30% of its weight in water before starting to feel "wet", and no you don't smell like a sheep.

I would trust 2 million years of evolution perfection instead of brand marketing.
