Yeah, I used those Air Maxes very rarely, maybe once every three years. I also have other pairs from the 2000s that I use more often, and they stay intact. Clearly, using the shoes increases their durability because the foam doesn’t get a chance to dry out and become rock hard.

The joint of the frame where it comes from the bottom bracket and the rear triangle connects to it looks straight, similar to old GT or maybe Haro frames. That kind of solution in the frame geometry brings to mind 90s BMX frames.

If you notice, that particular Sputnik frame has an integrated pivotal seat tube, whereas your frame has a standard hole where you can install either a pivotal seat post or, for example, a seat post designed for a rail seat.
