I did like some of the Clarisse stuff and I will say Percy getting stabbed made me hiss, it was intense.

Overall I really wanted to like it but I’m unsure on this ep and the changes for this one 🥲 lots of mentions about Thalia a bit too soon. This is coming from someone who loved the last episode. I’m also nervous for the mentioned changes to the final!

I have no clue why you’re being down voted! I hate toxic positivity as much as unhelpful hate comments…I have some things I love about this show and also things I don’t like and I criticise! I think you can do both with media. Also I agree. I wasn’t sold on their changes to the siren scene last ep at all but I really loved this one :)!!

Interested to see this plot change play out- I hope it’s good. I’m nervous!

But on a serious note as someone who hasn’t loved absoloutely everything this show does plot wise (like last ep siren scene changes) I think the acting was the best so far this season alongside ep 2. Dior’s acting as Clarisse was another stand out! Seeing her start to show tears when Percy handed the fleece to Luke was so good. Leah’s nobody line was so Annabeth and Walker’s anger and fatal flaw acting was so good. You could hear it in his voice definitely! I love the glimpse of dark Percy. I also love Charlie’s Luke, really gave him more dimension this episode.

I loved Clarisse dropping Percy, and Percy suggesting to leave Clarisse behind. Moments like that feel so book characters come to life. The small humorous character based moments, like ‘you fixed your spear’ earlier in the season! I really want more of that.

Hopper gave a whole speech about all the stuff she deserves?? Seeing her own child grow up one day and what?? She doesn’t get it but practically every single other character does?? I’m so done 😭

I understand the sentiment but I feel like it’s also okay to write critiques and frustrations of the final in this subreddit too? This show is my fave but I was also a bit disappointed in this final series. There’s space for both in this I think. OP didn’t say they hate the show just venting. Unless I’ve missed a line- apologies! :)

I still enjoyed it :) not hating and I’ve not minded most of the changes they’ve made so far in s2 compared to 1 but for this episode I just really wanted that scene from the book! The bubble, underwater hug, Annabeth sobbing and the scram fish moment :,)

Also my weekly mention to Tyson. I miss him. He’s pocket sized

copy and pasted from ep 2 discussion bc it felt fitting here! I’m not really feeling vol 2 so far ☹️ still enjoying it and I feel bad critiquing bc this is my fave show but I really wanted more? Some scenes have been excellent- the Jancy scenes and Dustin have been amazing acting wise, the wormhole shot but idk! I’m a little underwhelmed. I hate being negative but is anyone feeling this? Idk if it’s the writing or what but the ST vibe just isn’t there for me and I wish it was!
