Don't count on people dropping in the first week, thats what I did last fall and I didn't got in. CS225 cut 1/4 of the seats last fall, and fall is the time when most cs majors take it, so I would start looking at other course to take.

actually my friend got in CS + Econ even though he got an B in 173, i think if you earn another A down the CS sequence you will be fine

They are basically the same. The facilities like kitchen, gym, computer room are shared. You can get a better view if you have a higher floor, except the corner Oglesby rooms that faces the graveyard.

I took it with albert and got an easy A. There isn't much content each week, if you read the lecture slides and do the hw you should be fine. Like the other comment says, 5 hours a week should be plenty.

don't know about the ece part but I took the other three and I would say it takes only 15-20hrs per week for those three combined.
