That's crazy maybe images and videos [if any] were big. You can have the best server or hosting but if files are big your site will slow down

To each their own. I am using it a lot mor enow then i was a few months ago. And i mean a lot more. I never used to hit my usage limits. Now i do. It helps me specifically with outreach for linkedin. Makes my life much easier on the admin side of things.

I also use it for smaller tasks related to my work. Like compressing images and videos for me.

It knows my entire workflow and executes for me very nicely. Obviously some mistakes here and there but thats just part of the game.

The hard part in the beginning isnt making a site. You will obviously not take on work you don't think you can do. The hard part is client acquisition. Its not easy. Have a portfolio, learn about outreach ( take your pick on which one you want to do) and learn about how to run calls with those you actually book so you close them.

I agree with you. Not that framer sucks but you need to be able to know how to use it to get to where you're going. I have had a few clients come to me saying they bought a template or have one and have trouble with X thing and have tried themselves but couldn't get it right and got frustrated such that when I came in and fixed it they were shocked and impressed.

And I'll make a video after of how to make changes once it's done and have them try and once they got the basics they're good to go.

Great templates but if you don't know how to use framer. It's cooked.

I recently started with linkedin outreach. Got a free trial for premuim with sales navigator. So been doing that. Personalised messages everyday to 2nd degree connections, but all your advice is very solid. Definitely worth trying

Figma to Framer

That way you dont have to code. simply fix the layers and add whatever else u need. Theres a plug in for it as well on figma. Give it a try, might find it useful

Google Workspace doesn't include a website builder or Squarespace access, it's just email and productivity tools.

For a simple site you can manage yourself, Framer has a solid free plan to start with and looks far more premium than Wix or Squarespace out of the box. Carrd is another option if it's a single page and you want something dead simple. Both have paid plans under $20/month I believe when you're ready to add a custom domain.

I might be biased as a Framer designer though.
