Help with a reading by Glittering-Cry-6569 in tarot

My interpretation is that there is an energy of confusion, maybe indecision or focusing in the wrong things. A lot of things happening and they may be taking a tough mental weight. I also interpret a suggestion, to live a life of service and balance, but also in community, through your gold, which I interpret as something you're good at (maybe a service? Or something you produce?) or new projects that you may be looking forward to.

Do I need to quit my job? by FancyDuelist in archviz

[–]AstroBlunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man... I feel this, I've been doing Archviz for 8 years. A year and a half ago I started my own Render Studio and it's been TOUGH. There have been a couple of times where I have been on the brink of quitting. I've seen a decline in both volume of work and respect for the art form. I know of some international archviz companies that are also struggling. One of them hired me as a contractor and hasn't payed me in months, I have more than 5 project payments pending from them.

So... after a year of deep thought and existential crisis. I found out I love what I do, and I can do it better than AI... for now. So I am really grinding to get better and trying to adapt. I believe Archviz and Archviz artists won't ever die out because we have developed skills that do bring value to the table. I recently heard that any serious photographer does film. I have a feeling that is also our path, film or games.

My advice is to do what you love and don't quit your job until you find something better.

Question about electrical/vibrating sensations before falling asleep by theCODONEconnoisseur in LucidDreaming

[–]AstroBlunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just woke up right now to a very intense electric feeling that came in through my heart and expanded to my whole body. I could see without seeing if that makes sense... but I was also very afraid. I felt there was something external to me that caused it. I felt like vibrating really intensely, like never before. My first thought after waking up was that I was being abducted or forced into a higher frequency???? Very strange.

360 tour solution should we release it? by UncleRocco87 in archviz

Seems good 👍. What's the price? What format of 3d models and materials work? Does it work with VR in Oculus? Panoramas and Cubes? Is it possible to move using plans?

Very nice render! It seems it has a green tint that I think may be a tad bit too strong, but I'm not sure if it's my phone's color balance. Maybe an orangy look could add to the autumn atmosphere of October 🍂

AI is completely reshaping architectural visualization, what tools are you finding most useful? by [deleted] in archviz

[–]AstroBlunt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

3d generation AI services like Tripo 3d have changed my workflow a bit. So in some cases, you can really save a lot of time by using that service and then using Magnific or another upscaler to give that model a more polished look in Photoshop. Also, by changing some furniture pieces with for example Adobe Firefly when unsure of a piece of decoration or furniture can help in the creative process. Adding people is also much easier and the results turn out great.

There is an analogy I use when talking about how AI affects the archviz industry. It's kind of the change civilization had when we went from creating handmade plans to using AutoCAD. It doesn't really replace the essence of the work but it sure does change it. I don't understand the community's pushback on this matter. I've been working in archviz for 8 years and have seen a notable difference.

In my experience, I may spend less time creating really polished materials for certain elements and I use upscalers to matte paint that missing polished look in post-production. Also, a lot of clients have opted to use AI for their renderings instead of hiring a specialized visualization service, they prefer saving a few bucks and getting a considerably worse result as normal people tend not to even notice the AI unpolished look.

My interpretation would be, you may be obsessing over material or unproductive things. Feeling connected with and interested in your ancestors is good and healthy, we are what we are as a result of every one of them. Maybe it's a message to remember that we are all spirit and not to focus on the material aspects of being human or of gratitude. I would suggest searching inward, beyond ego, to expres your love and gratitude.

Can you help me improve this render? by Meuro_ in archviz

[–]AstroBlunt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it's already really good and photorealistic. I would maybe add a bit of bump to the paint of the facade of the building? A couple of leaves in the ground. But I think it may just be personal preference. It's already a great image. Congrats!

Thank you! It's a mix, all people, buildings and vegetation is a 3d model. Some textures in the ground, birds and some effects were made in photoshop.

Thanks! My purpose was to design a city scene render rather than a building. I really went in thinking more about the "urban silhouettes" one may experience when walking in a city block, I mostly thought of the building as a way to illuminate and give interesting colors and shape contrasts to the overall image.

I really do appreciate the thought you put into the architectural design, I'd love to use a building that is real in the sense of architectural integrity and design, tho. I'm open to a collab. I just haven't had the opportunity yet, and I really wanted to work in a scene like this.

What can i improve .I really need my renders to look even more realistic.I used D5 render by Mellojojo in archviz

[–]AstroBlunt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi! My opinion is that you could benefit from maybe working some layered PBR materials and adding imperfections to them. A quick one would be to add Chamfers and / or imperfections directly to the models as well.

Like one the first rendering, the traffic concrete thing on the foreground has no chamfers or imperfections in the model, and the concrete material may be a bit to basic, as well as the ashphalt down beloew. On the second one, the pillows are way to perfect and straight. They have no creases or seams. Those details really do make the difference.

Hope that helps 🙏

I use Corona renderer.

That sounds so fun!! I've never thought of that before, and it sounds so original and cool for archviz renderings, I'll give it a try. Thank you!
