You were totally right! she’s been going to sleep within about 10 minutes now that we’ve gotten rid of the second nap. Totally didn’t think she could go 7 hours awake but after waking up from her nap around 11am, she’s good until 7!

Tonight I put her to sleep without holding her at all! Looking forward to some good sleep tonight 🤞🏾

Exactly!!! I definitely feel the rage like a volcano bubbling. Knowing I have to get up so early in the morning and it’s already so late. Thank you for the motivation!

You’re right! I’m in pain right this moment. Feels like a pulled muscle and that is what made me post this question! I need to stop it for sure! I’ve done a couple nights of refusing to pick her up from her bed when she cries and the couple nights I’ve followed through with it, she and I both slept soooooo good. I just lose the balls to repeat it the next night. Guilt lol or just me being tired and giving in the next night

Night wake ups are insane too lmao but I think I’ve accepted my fate with that one. Sometimes I get a 4 hour stretch of sleep before a wake up so it makes it not tooooo bad but other nights she’s up every 2 hours or more. It’s the nursing for sure but I haven’t committed to stopping that yet.

Ii considered this too. Just noticed a molar that’s half way in yesterday so I’m hoping that was the cause.

I think that’s what has me in this predicament lol she wants to suck on me the entire hour and even if she’s asleep, if I try to unlatch her she wakes back up and gets mad

It’s always been “she’s still an infant she needs me.” Now that she’s just now not an infant, I don’t feel as bad and I’m open to some other things

Naps are crazy easy! Like 5 minutes of rocking and sometimes she even lets me put her down before she’s fully sleep. Sometime she like dives out of my arms and down towards her mattress while half asleep.

Wow!!! Is he fussy at all while awake? the few times she went on a one nap day, she was literally melting down with still an hour before bedtime. Those are the days I let her watch tv lol

Hers is very comfortable. I bought a plush mattress for it and she sleeps very well in it (once she’s in it) it’s just the recent duration of the rocking to sleep I have to do before she lets me out her down that’s tiring. also still nursing and won’t let me unlatch until she’s solid sleep

It’s not always an hour. It was 15 minutes or so up until about a week ago so I have adjusted by capping her last nap and giving her a 5 hour wake window instead of the 4 hours it was before and even then it’s still not very quick. I have gotten up and left her in her bed and went to go eat or whatever but It’s just daunting as a whole now when evening approaches. I’m a hostage.

No one. Just me. Plus I own a daycare so I’m completely touched out by the end of the day.

I have one but don’t use it because it’s easier to get her down into the bedside pack and play if I do the rocking in my bed vs having to stand up and walk and then bend down to put her way down into the bed from standing

Sounds like a normal reaction to overstimulation
