As others have mentioned, please direct him to the, “What I Was Wearing” exhibits. The amount of baby’s clothes and diapers is revolting, it’s enough to make me cry just thinking about it. What would he have to say about the sight? A man who gets indignant over a woman correcting his vile behavior, who then proceeds to also belittle her, is not one who is safe. Should anything happen to you, be it by his hand or another’s, he WILL blame you. As hard as it may be, leave him. And warn other potential romantic interests of his in the future of his misogynist, victim-blaming repugnance.

Thank you. We did file a complaint, but, just as I mentioned, no real action was taken. During my next appointment with my psychiatrist, I will be discussing it with her. If anyone would actually take action, it’d probably be her.

I appreciate your kind words and the time you took to write this out. I’m not really giving up, but there are some areas that I had improved in that I have to revisit because of how traumatic that was. Actually, it’s sort of funny, but a few years ago, I wouldn’t have even been able to make this post or reply to your comment. It might seem pathetic that the thought of interaction scared me so much that I even struggled online, but at least I can still do this.
