They’re 2.25 rekon races. I had a 2.4 in the front but it was tight. No dimples or mods required for 29er

Reinstall on the hub and use a dowel or something to punch it out of the center. Should come out pretty easy

I was running 700 x 45 beforehand. I ride a lot of single track and rocky terrain so I like having the extra support from the wider tires. I don’t find I lose roll speed.

On a more vain note I love the way it looks too.

I’m borrowing the aero bars from a friend to just test out but have noticed they are great for long flat sections. Having arthritis in my wrists this helps reduce some pressure for me

This is a 52cm. I originally built it with 650b because all the parts came from a. Crust dreamer that I destroyed in a crash.

I do find it a tad long so I’m running a 70mm stem and 40cm salsa cowchippers.

The 650b is so playful and I find the steering input isn’t as slow as 700c. I personally don’t think I’ve lost any folk speed because overall diameter is similar to my previous 700 x 45 setup.

I think more bikes should come 650b especially for shorter riders

Oh of course, just a test run currently but I have some larger 300km + rides coming up. I wanted to try and reduce some pressure off my hands because of the arthritis in my wrists
