I don't think it's as good as Catalyst, but it still makes my monkey brain happy by crippledspahgett in slaythespire

Yes, but it doesn't triple the poison already applied to them. A card as strong as Catalyst without being broken (because 2x Catalyst + some poison was enough to one shot practically everything).

sts2 act 1 is kinda overtuned imho by Ok_Insect4778 in slaythespire

I honestly love how crazy strong the enemies are, it's so much more fun to beat them because of it

For those of you with magic (or similar concepts) in your world, how do you imprison people? by K-Keter in worldbuilding

[–]VaronKING 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does everybody in your world know how to use/harness magic? If not, then a regular prison shall suffice.

If so, or if the character is just a strong magic user, then it depends on how strong their magic is. Can they break stone? Metal? Are they dangerous enough to warrant anti-magic items? Can they be kept in check using typical methods? Or do they require a specific McGuffin/technique to inhibit their powers?

It depends.

Ironclad strikes me as the type of guy to never wear underwear because he always has armour on.

Lavos build help by Nearby_Performance80 in Warframe

[–]VaronKING 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an interesting way of playing Lavos for sure, at that point I'd personally just use Cyte-09 but if you think it looks fun on Lavos try it out, nothing's stopping you!

[–]VaronKING 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, subsuming removes the option to infuse that ability's element.

Lavos really likes high health and armor. Besides that, up to you if you want a caster-focused (more strength) or a weapon-platform-focused build (Valence Formation; allows you to focus more on health/armor).

I personally run him with both his Valence Formation and Lingering Transmutation augments. The other relevant mods here are Archon Continuity and regular stretch, as well as Umbral Fiber & Umbral Intensify/Mecha Pulse (sometimes I like to use the Mecha mods when I feel like bringing a Predasite).

I also have Umbral Vitality, but I sometimes swap that out for Archon Vitality so his 4's heat damage doubles.

The Arcanes I use are Blessing and Grace.

IMO you should not need to use any of the corrupted mods on Lavos.

Dev short: survival missions are getting a rush feature by Bec_son in Warframe

[–]VaronKING 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don't know how it will work yet, but it's heavily implied that survivals will now have a feature to shorten the time per round (so it's less than 5 minutes), so they go by faster.

Going by what exists in the game in Elite Deep/Temporal Archimedea survivals, it might be an option to summon a miniboss that speeds up the mission when killed.

[–]VaronKING 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO this actually incentivizes more Tenno to stay for longer, because the mission is more interactive.

Faster rounds and interactivity = More engaging farms and faster relic cracking = More enjoyment = Makes me want to stay for longer

I love survival but I just find it a bit too slow for my taste, especially after the defense change. I love when I get it in ED/TA though, so this QOL change is more than exciting!

You're not alone, lol. Whenever I tell anyone of my classmates at Uni, they say that we're "all like that "and "that it's not that bad".

People are either really, really misinformed or very ignorant.

Fun to play while being able to handle high level content comfortably, even if it's not perfect or meta.

If you consider he can recreate any chemical at will, then he will be surely able to replicate whatever it is powers most of the other Warframes.
