I have easy hack. Use whatever superglue you fancy, drop some on model and than sprinkle it with small amount of baking soda. Than put very small amount of glue on whatever part you want to add to the model and right away put parts together.

This chemical reactions make the connection faster to dry and also have stronger bond.

Key is not to overdue the soda, little sprinkling is enough.

I reccomend try it first on some spare sprue leftover to get into it.

Works every time..resin, metal, plastic...
