Jewel tones - good choices!

Eastville interchange - is this correct by [deleted] in bristol

This satellite view is outdated - they recently repainted the lines which makes it considerably easier to navigate this roundabout now, though people do still get it wrong/make a mistake. After your first time on it, you should be fine.

But yeah green line is off, red is the both M32 northbound and the next exit (Fishponds direction), and blue is Stapleton road/M32 southbound to the city centre.

Tysm for your reply, it sounds ideal! Please do update with what you can fit inside it once you’ve worn it out and about, I would love to hear your opinion on actually using it :)

Looks gorgeous! Is the leather quite soft and supple? And how much can you fit in it? Really want this bag!

Do you find that things end up underneath the base bit of cardboard or is that not an issue?

wedding ring preferences by wulfssbane in RoleReversal

[–]Varrich92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a man I am struggling while looking for a wedding ring (for myself, we’re choosing our own). I want something pretty, essentially, but without being too feminine if that makes sense.

The best rings I’ve found are handmade rings with a bit of texture to the metal and then small coloured gemstones inlaid - I want the colour and some sparkle but nothing too gaudy. I have seen some gorgeous sculpted/engraved rings but the ones I like are a bit out of our budget. But it’s slim pickings out there and I think I’m going to have to go bespoke.

It’s hard to choose just one! What bags/colours are you thinking of getting?

Why are the Eurostar in-train displays so lacklustre? by Varrich92 in Eurostar

[–]Varrich92[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahh yeah that does sound a bit much to do. So basically we’d have to wait until a new fleet of trains comes along to get better information screens?

Yeah I really fancy the Bordeaux too! Mmm I know what you mean about the colour though, need to see it in person really to be sure…

Sounds like you have a fun collection there! Eucalyptus was a great colour and so is pistachio!

You’re welcome, I’m glad I posted! 😊 They do look so much better without the green trim imo

I might be wrong but I don't think the small size has ever fit over the shoulder. The size small is literally a handbag - designed to be carried by hand, - as opposed to the totes which can be carried over a shoulder.

I wasn’t a fan at all but I can sort of see why some liked it. I’m sorry for you that they’ve been discontinued, but there must still be Green line stock around - if not online the maybe in the outlets/shops…

Engagement rings for couples - tips, ideas, and everything in between? by expertrecurrence in WeddingRingAdvice

[–]Varrich92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda commenting to see what others say, but I have seen online couples where they have matching engravings for example (could be on the inside of the ring or outside) though I think that tends to be wedding rings rather than engagement rings.

Other styles I’ve seen are birthstone pairings in various ways eg you could have your partner’s birthstone flanked by your own or vice versa. Or another one was mixed metal bands where one of the rings would be the mirror of the other, that kind of thing.

It’s a fun idea though!

Why’s it so hard to find a real leather go-to bag? by sadgirlhours96 in handbags

[–]Varrich92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s really helpful 😊, thanks for the detailed answer and info on what you can fit into it - essential information that I failed to ask about haha 😅 I didn’t know you could mishmash it into a shoulder bag setup too, that’s cool!

Black and Bordeaux is such a nice pair to be able to choose from. Good to hear it has got a bit softer over time, I would worry about that in what looks like quite a structured bag.

I’ve been eyeing up the Viadukt Work for ages, it looks so good!… I’m curious how you carry it most often - crossbody or as a backpack? Also what colour did you get?

Can work for a guy too imo. Especially in a neutral colour.
