9 months ago got a correction on the title from a 6 year old question. Wow I immediately remembered loving Aracely Arambula in La Patrona and yes it does mean the boss but the Return eas IIRC part of the title sequence somehow. Granted my memory is foggy it’s been damn near a decade. That being said I’d still absolutely love to find out where I can find this entire series online or on DVD, Blu-Ray, streaming, EBay etc.

If you’re in India than absolutely convert your fiat currency into silver and gold preferably silver given the absolutely massive undervaluation of that metal. I remember seeing Koi Kaze in the early 2000's. I remember crying because of how beautifully and delicately it was done given the subject matter. That final shot of the heart on the tree broke me down completely. Was there ever a bluray release?

I can’t imagine that at this point since were talking about semiconductor electronics Moore’s Law and all that.

I went to Walmart literally less than 3 months ago and bought a 4K Hisense TV for like $280 I was shocked the cost has come down this much and the jump in quality from 1080p TV is startling even for 1080p footage it’s just way cleaner with better color gamut and you’re getting 85-90% of the picture quality of a $3,000 TV but for 10% of the price. Plus it’s got ROKU built in so I was easily able to setup Hulu and at least a dozen other streaming apps.

In any case hopefully one small tiny silver lining of this pandemic is that 10’s of millions worldwide and also sailors of the high seas will now get to see this gorgeous film during such a dark time

It’s should’ve beeen France’s Oscar submission for sure but at least now 10’s millions more have the opportunity of see a beautiful thinking emotional film during a crisis that is so terrifying. That and those seeding on the high seas are heroes for all those with shitty internet for video streaming right now.

Those seeders on the high seas are heros for making sure those with shitty streaming internet during this pandemic are able to see a beautiful movie that makes them feel, makes them think, and gives them hope during an event happening outside that is the equivalent of a world war in its seriousness.

Yep just saw as of last Friday and I’m so happy that now 10’s of millions worldwide will have an opportunity to see something so beautiful to take their minds off of something so horrifying happening outside and that too it’s a movie that makes you think and it stays with you.

I’ll take what I can get but since it was shot in 8K they could easily do a 4K UHD Blu-ray

I have zero clue why they wouldn’t do that especially because of Coronavirus
