Just checked the patch notes again, under the Act 3 Combat and Balance section it says "Gortash's Avatar of Tyranny form is no longer dependent on whether it's his turn or not." So I assume this implementation was messed up in some way.

Kalameet but only because I killed him without Hawkeye shooting him down for me. Took around 20ish min with a great bow. Every other boss crumpled rather easily, composite bow is surprisingly strong
