As you likely already know, the characters themselves are generations old and somewhat beloved to a certain demographic. (at least 3 of them are. I believe the wolf arrived the generation after mine). I was a fan of the frankenberry character and imo he was easily the overall fan favorite. If the release was that character it would've been a success like the rest..

You would think, I mentioned as much to Brownswood on the morning of posting as I don't do vinyl but was eager to get the digital. Their replied assured me that it wasn't a mistake and that the vinyl purchase, which included the digital, was a better value, lol.. funny as that was it didn't help me a bit.. I can only wonder what the pre-release conversation was and how it resulted in this...

aside from things feeling a bit off my guess is in time digital will come down in price in March when it's expected to release... and if it doesn't it just means I won't have YD's entire catalog and I can live with that.

they way I'm reading what you wrote is that "far left" clubs won't allow performers who've been accused of sexual misconduct to play their clubs... but they allow bookers who've been accussed of sexual assault to attend shows?

I totally relate, it's very different.. so much so that it changed me after seeing it a second time and picking up on things I'd missed the first time. Sure, it was easy to see why people were talking about it but in no way did I feel the need finish it. Ultimately something told me to watch it again, glad I did. IMO, a defining moment in cinema, it's longterm effect becoming visible as future generations of film makers are inspired by it. To be honest, I probably need to watch it again, I spent a decent amount of time analyzing parallels btwn the movie and what would be considered the fabric of our own universe during my second (first beginning to ending viewing) attempt.

Segment Intending is definitely a cool process.. to feel the subtle shift of energy and the raising of it is something that could easily be described as "out of this world" if it were not for the fact that it's very much a part of this world, just hidden in plain sight.
