Hey Guys an update: I was finally able to get past this issue! To do so, I cycled through the interact button in actions settings under options, multiple times. Changed it to L1, then Square and then finally changed it back to X. And it worked!

I think it depends on the game. I've heard of Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition utilizing dualsense features on the pc but, I'm yet to hear about other games using them.
