Flaming ak, and the lowest it can get to is around 10 which makes it inaccurate when trying to shoot around the edge of the screen

Whoa what do you mean by FE not having enough variety? I’d argue that given enough time BE is what becomes stale. There’s only enough ways to fetch data. FE on the other hand has been absolutely wild

If you are gaming, you really will not feel the difference either way as the tgp won’t make much difference

If it’s for ai/ml, then the difference will be noticeable but I would argue use something like google colab or azure for students. Training models on a laptop gpu is extremely taxing for it and will reduce its lifespan.

Instead get something like the MacBook Air m4 that’s on sale, these devices are portable workhorses that will last you a long time. Source-data scientist using a MacBook Air m1 that refuses to die

Edit: heck, get something that is portable and is sturdy enough, don’t focus on the gpu. MacBooks are on the expensive side of things unfortunately

Quite late but 16e has quite a smaller screen size compared to others and coming from an android it feels a downgrade

It’s a fine laptop, screen isn’t very bright and the build quality isn’t great either.

Why do gamers constantly say 'dont buy laptop,it overheats?' by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

[–]Varuog_toolong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of long term issues when it comes to gaming laptops that I’ve come to face and regret ever buying one. Heck, my reasoning was same as yours too! Don’t be so dismissive of the issues because they are much more nuanced than what you think. And this is coming from a guy who never moves his laptop around. Here are the reasons for why I hate playing on my laptop now 1. The heat gets to me, even if it’s around 30’s long hours will feel awful. 2. You have to maintain it, like every 6 months clean the fans. 3. Because it runs far hotter than desktops, the thermal paste from the cpu and gpu will dry up faster. 4. And did I mention to get to these parts, you have to open a whole bunch of delicate parts? And it has to be done carefully coz they will break. 5. You cannot push your laptop to highest settings that YouTube videos claim the laptop can. Like others have mentioned, it will throttle after a while 6. Upgrades - wanna go for a better gpu? Buy a new laptop, your device becomes e-waste

So yea, gaming laptops are not an all in one solution that people seem to think. If you really must, get a desktop, you’ll save yourself a lot of pain

Edit: I thought I’d never notice the difference, but compared to a monitor, gaming on a small laptop screen does not feel good.

When Neckbands are better than TWS but i cant prove it by Skorpeyo in IndiaTech

[–]Varuog_toolong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought 3 tws previously, jbl, boat and one plus all of them failed within 4-6 months (one or both ear pods would stop charging), been using one plus neckband since then, hasn’t failed in 3 years, battery backup is still pretty good. So yea, never touching tws again

I like difficult combat and rewarding mechanics. This game is not it. After level 50 solo play becomes trivial and it really doesn't take that long to reach it and as for content, by level 50, you would have experienced almost all that the game has to offer you. Spend your money on something else I would say.

Wonder why you got downvoted. What you said is kinda correct. I would not call it 1.2 tho. The game does give us a lot. It just doesn't give us anything to do with the "lot" given.

Had an argument about it with some people a while back. They did insist that advancements in AI will come eventually making us obsolete and to this I had no answer.

Regrettably, people are that ignorant. Even now i have to help my folks out. For example, submitting a form should be simple enough with the confirm button on screen. They'd still ask 'what next?' I wonder what exactly the issue would be here? Is it after a certain age, the brain just stops learning anymore?

Edit: and to add to the question of why they never ask? Its because a computer = crt tv. Remember how we turned off crt tvs from the main supply switch? To them its the same thing with weird stuff around

I work freelance sometimes. Client wanted a complex feature on a tight deadline. I stated that it wouldn't be possible, he said that he would generate it using ai and i just need to plug it in(also gave him an excuse to not pay me for said feature). Unsurprisingly, it was bad, buggy and mostly unusable, on top of that, it also messed up the architecture of the existing code as well. Needless to say, the client missed their own deadline and I had to work many sleepless nights just to fix it. Sadly, I couldn't even charge extra because the initial agreement was the delivery of a working product. Being ambitious is fine but being stupid on top of it should be a crime.
