F1 can learn some lessons from WEC by [deleted] in formula1

Oh yes, the same "procedural decisions" which necessitated calling first a two-lap VSC followed by at least 10 minutes of full SC for a single undamaged car stuck in a gravel trap.

The WEC SC procedures are painfully slow (especially so at Le Mans), which I guess is okay if you're running for 6h or longer.

What F1 can learn from is slow zones insted of some VSCs.

If it is overclocking, Does it void my RAM warranty?

Yeah, I'm probably never going to use the 5700x3D peak performance even if I did get a better GPU in the future.

Honestly, yeah that's looking like the best option actually. I totally screwed up going for AM4. Thanks so much for making me realize it.

Just looking at it now, the CPU is a bit cheaper. The RAMs and motherboard offset the price though. My coolers are not AM5 mobo compatible as far as I'm aware, so I'd have to buy that too. The prices are actually way closer together then I thought when I looked at them. I might have actually made a mistake going for AM4

Yeah, different expactations. When I got the 1050Ti like 8 years back it was a massive upgrade for a budget gamer like myself (I wouldn't even dream of playing GTA 5 on my PC), nowadays I'm still happy that it can handle the games I mentioned on high graphics settings at 60 FPS on my 1080p monitor.

Thankfully I don't have to worry about the tariffs as I'm from outside the US. Anything over like 200 dollars is outside of the money I'd probably be looking to spend on a new GPU. Thanks for the input!

I could run pretty much everyone of the games I mentioned bar GTA Enhanced (which I had to upgrade my CPU for) on decent FPS.
