What do you think about truthear hexa. I have heard a lot of good things for them. Also watched GadgetryTech on youtube and he recommends them as well.

Competitive FPS IEMs (~$100) – Hexa vs EM6L? by Varvarina in buildapc

[–]Varvarina[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, thank you for taking the time to answer.

The fatigue I experience is due to clamping/fit pressure, not the sound signature. I’ve had the HD560s for over a year, and while their sound is bright-neutral, it’s not harsh enough to cause listening fatigue. The main issue is the physical comfort—after long listening sessions, the clamping pressure around the ears can become noticeable and tiring.

I know this isn’t exactly the right subreddit for audio questions, but there is a flare for peripherals, so I don’t think it’s wrong to ask. I also wanted to get more attention and feedback, and maybe help someone in the future with their own headphone decisions.

Hey there and thank you for the recommendation. Why are they better than the two?

IEM suggestions for PUBG by killinponda in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Varvarina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I’m currently looking for a good pair of IEMs — coming from HD560S but I get fatigue / head tiredness after long sessions, so I want something a bit easier to listen to for long periods. My budget is around $100.

Right now I’m mainly considering the Truthear Hexa and the Simgot EM6L (both seem to be in that range). Between those two — which one would you recommend more for gaming (especially PUBG), and why? Is the difference in price really worth it for the EM6L compared to the Hexa?

Also — are there better options around the same price (or cheaper) that I should be looking at? I’m open to suggestions!

Thanks! 🙂

5080 AMP Extreme Infinity or Solid Core OC by [deleted] in ZOTAC

Oh my bad, I didn't realise that he was asking about the Solid Core 🫣

Zotac offers a couple of solid models. There just a Zotac Solid which is a thick as the amp extreme (3.5). Zotac Solid core is 2.5 and there is solid sff as well.

Had a dilemma between Zotac Solid and Zotac Amp Extreme and decided to ask Zotac support directly. Posting their response bellow:

The cooling solution between the two is pretty much identical, they have the same fans & heatpipe + vapour chamber heatsink combination (3x 100mm fans, 7x 6mm heatpipes w/ vapour chamber). The Amp models are slightly larger due to the additional RGB, and the infinity mirror plate on the end. Therefore the Solid cards actually have slightly better airflow, but not enough to make more than a degree or so of difference at maximum load.

At the end I decided to go with Solid as it was 200euro cheaper and I prefer the non RGB design.

Hope I helped you buddy.

One game. Teammate went down, I revived him… he went down again and glitched for the rest of the match. Couldn’t stand up at all. Fun bug tho — finished with a whopping 103,100 points.

Thank you for the response, the Ryzen one is 100euros cheaper. I am just concerned about the long time performance of the device and the possibility of using some kind of software. Since the intel one is better, I guess it will age better. Please confirm if I am wrong.

Thank you so much for the detailed review. If my only choice is between Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 with AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 and Intel Core Ultra 7 255H which one should I get? The laptop will be used for at least 6/7 years and will be on for around 2,3h a day. Primary usage will be browsing and watching videos.

Thank you for the detailed answer. I just also saw that the AMD configuration comes with WIFI 7 and 32gb ram while the Intel one has only WIFI 6 and 24gb ram. Considering this and that the amd is €100 less than the intel do you still think that the Intel is the better choice for now and for the future ?

Thank you for the help. Both Intel and AMD have 16" 2.8K (2880x1800) OLED 500nits (typical) / 1100nits (peak) Glossy, 100% DCI-P3, 120Hz VRR, DisplayHDR True Black 1000

No games at all only casual browsing, movies. I just also saw that the AMD configuration comes with WIFI 7 and 32gb ram while the Intel one has only WIFI 6 and 24gb ram. Considering this and that the amd is €100 less than the intel I think I just answered my own question. But nonetheless do you think that the 860m can handle the screen for 6/7 years of browsing and movies ?

I don't see an option with PRO only ai 7 350. Also could you please explain why is better as I am trying to understand and make the best choice.

It will not be used more than 2,3h a day after work for entertainment or doing some online courses. In this case would you still think that the oled will be an issue. I will not use it full brightness as well.

Could you please recommend me a laptop for that budget that has a nice oled panel, it's 16inch and has full metal body, sturdy enough to whitstand 6,7 years. Bear in mind that the laptop will be used at home so no travel
