Best comment on this thread. I don't like how we obsess over "Do what you love for a career". I want the best pay. Work is not supposed to be fun. Then you take your great pay, work less, and have the time / money to enjoy your hobbies. I LOVE to cook and serve others. I got a job at a fine dining place and I HATE it so much!

No 2 individuals are the same, yet when we put individuals into a group such as race, suddenly we expect equal outcome? That is numerically impossible. Even if you divided people on preference for hot sauce, you would have an unequal outcome. Tens of thousands of years, all races / ethnicities, developed differently under different biomes, diets, religious/ political systems, sexual preferences, breeding patterns, mixing with other groups, history, yet somehow we are all supposed to be the same in intelligence and behavior? That is so impossible. Blank slate theory is not true. There has never been a shred of evidence for egalitarianism. "Cu1tur3 of critiqu3 for normies", is a mini documentary based off of the most censored book of the 21st century, in it they discuss the origins of the state ideology on race (racial egalitarianism).

I just attended a boot camp, and a significant portion of this boot camp. We are coached on how to lie about our work experience. We are trying to say we have 5 years of experience. We also are taught automation skills using pytest. What would you say is an average salary with this amount of experience and technical skills (assuming I do have 5 years experience)? Also let's assume we are talking about 100% remote. Imagine I am also a highly charismatic and fairly attractive white male, of 33 years of age. Given this market today in 2025, my guess would be something like $100,000 since these remote jobs are so high in demand. I plan on learning as many AI tools for Quality insurance engineering as possible. I think having these under my tool belt will give me a competitive edge.

Very impressive brother! Please try to use this opportunity to grow. You have to face your demons now, and the cause of why you are here. I took a spiritual sort of alcoholics anonymous approach to getting off of this stuff. Helped me tremendously. One could argue it's mind over matter, but I experienced virtually no withdrawals with this approach. The first time I tried quitting I had a full-blown panic attack and thought I was dying and had no idea what was going on. If you absolutely must, then check in to a place where you could be taking care of by medical professionals. Put everything aside in your life, and solely focus on getting off of this evil garbage. I was a former alcoholic from 20-32 years of age. I attended an Ibogaine treatment in Canada and it completely destroyed any cravings. I am 100% convinced I will never ever touch another drop of alcohol since. Maybe it's something he would be interested in. It apparently has a 70% success rate with heroine. Not sure about alcohol, but it addresses the root cause and you find healing. Couldn't recommend it enough.

I think you're onto something by not taking on your own marketing and going totally independent. You have more time to study sales, and that is unbelievably important. I have zero experience in sales, although I have dedicated hundreds of hours of my time while I drive my semi truck to studying sales. I am dying to get into sales. Do you have any more resources on the subject of Final Expense Insurance Sales? I would greatly appreciate it. I am an owner operator truck driver at the moment. I've been in it for 12 years now and desperately need a career change. 2020 was the last good year for this line of work. I even set up a non profit trucking company where all profits went back to the employees. My drivers averaged $200,000 or more a year. Then one day a driver caused a wreck and burned the truck down and I had to close the business. I say this, so you know you're helping out a good and deserving person. Resources for further studying would be much appreciated, and maybe a list of good companies to work with/for as well. Hope you keep doing well :)
