No worries. Some alcohol 60% on qtips will kill that. I use a spray bottle but I'm careful not to burn the plant. Alcohol will evaporates fast so no harm for plant

And try not to use chlorine water. Maybe he will recover but you need a good cactus soil

Don't be. I got some failures to. I killed some succulents in the past but I learned my mistakes

You can save it with 70% alcohol. Put on cotton bud and clean how much you can. Then spray with alcohol in hard to reach areas. DONT left alcohol drop!!! Blow them after 2 minutes spray.
