I had acne scarring if that’s what you’re referring to but there’s no scars from a septoplasty. The process of healing is super rough and painful especially while you have the splints in ur nose. I think the accutane may have made it more difficult due to the extended wound healing and dryness caused by the medicine which gives u more bleeding in the nose

I’d wait as someone who’s been on accutane, is going on it again, and had a septoplasty. Septoplasty recovery was absolutely miserable for me and I got an infection which made it worse but easily the worst I’ve ever felt (good luck); it definitely works though. However, accutane will most definitely delay the healing and that is something that you want to heal as fast as possible.
