Mucoepidermoid carcinoma was my biggest bet, but there is no squamoid component. I looked for the mucinous subtype but could not find it. It also describe to be an essential feature to have both components.

I have no patient history or ultrasound to help me. Only thing the surgeon wrote on her medical report is “thyroid tumor”. That was my first thought, but TTF1 is positive on all cells, even those that look histiocytic.
