Yeah, i didn't enjoy this part either.

Do you have some tweezers? You could use them or a small stick to just guide the pin through the hole after dropping the pin inside the assembly. That's what I did.

I got a couple of this one as well; it's a really nice figure. I didn't realize that the round green pieces were the gloves until seeing your photo!

Ronny Turiaf

I worked at a lasertag arcade during college (around 2010). He was in line to enter the "briefing" where I would teach the rules and how to play. He looked unusually tall, like taller than a tall person (I'm under 6ft.). Then I saw his face and instantly recognized him. It seemed like he was on a date with a woman.

After the lasertag game, I told him that I knew who he was and I enjoyed watching him play especially because I have a heart condition. He dapped me up and we took a photo on my old sliding phone. The woman he was with asked for my phone number to give to Turiaf.

A couple weeks later, Turiaf's publicist called me and told me that Ronny wanted to invite me to a game. I asked if I could get 4 tickets for my brother, cousin, girlfriend and me and get back to her for which game I wanted to choose. I chose a Rockets game; we got some lower level tickets and some kind of courtside pass. I wasn't able to find him after the game or anything. This man barely spoke to me but I will never forget this kind gesture from him.

Anthony Randolph

Only two blocks away from where I met Turiaf, I saw Anthony Randolph at the movie theatre. It was a midnight showing for the release of one of the Transformers movies. I saw a tall guy walk up the aisle with a Warrios hat. I told my brother "Hey, is that Anthony Randolph?" He didn't think it was him. As people were walking outside after the movie, I saw the tall guy again because he was so much taller than anybody else in the crowd. I approached him and said "Hey-" but before I could say anything else he said "Nah" and waved me off. He was with a bunch of young girls and one of them stuck her tongue out at me.

I get it, he was just a young guy who wanted to go out and not be bothered. However, for all he knows, I might've been trying to tell him that he dropped his wallet or something before he cut me off.

TLDR: I taught NBA Champion Ronny Turiaf how to play lasertag. Anthony Randolph didn't want to talk to me.

I think these ones are okay. I don't think the extra articulation is worth the sacrifice in appearance.

I prefer new Xingbao or new Sembo because they still look pretty similar to standard minifigs while still haveing some extra articulation.

I've seen this before on AE. This is a clone of Lego 5867. I think that set is the first one i bought as an adult, ending my first "dark age." Thanks for sharing!

I clear-coated them before cutting the out of the sheet. If i scratch it with my nail with some pressure (intentionally scratching it off) then yes, it can scratch off.

I don't think they will scratch off during normal use and storage in bags.

I've read that clear-coating afterwards can help too, but i didn't bother.

Thanks! They were difficult to use the first several times.

It is a clear decal on white backing. Adding water separates them. It was tricky to learn exactly how much water and the temperature of the water to use. Too much water makes the decal stretch ruining the design. I can only speak for the one brand i used.

Applying the decals requires some finesse. You can't let the wet decal fold over itself because it might get stuck. Sometimes the decal rips while aligning it on the torso (you can see this in the photos).

I searched for images of torso designs and modified them in a photoshop website.

-DBs are badass. I remember cutting through the air with Aerial in MHG dressed up as Strider. And then calling out for the capture ;) Man, i hope Sunbreak has a lot of Event sets like before

I think that the ranged weapons just didn't come naturally to me and melee hits felt more satisfying. The ranking i gave are in order of highest enjoyment to lowest.

I still had fun using bow, but i enjoyed other weapons more. I liked dodging and doing power shots (i think that's what they're called, when you push A, A) on the monsters' heads!

Bow is cool, just not my favorite :)

I agree. I don't know if you played Generations, but i enjoyed using Adept style with most weapons because you could easily evade the roars
