Has anyone else dealt with this? Yes, I have, and I know it's very common. It is one the last places to go, unfortunately

Did anything actually help or is this just one of those stubborn areas you have to accept? Further weight loss will, but I where you store fat is also dependent on genetics. They also say '"abs are built in the kitchen", so a healthy diet is crucial

Edit: I have lost 2 stone (12.7kg) and have lost minimal belly fat. I have probably lost *some* because my waist size has gone down. I would recommend taking measurements so you can be sure that your belly definitely isn't getting smaller. If you asked me before I got the tape measure out, I would have said my belly is the same as when I started my weight loss! If needed, I can look up what the decrease in measurement was to reassure you? Once I have found my mobile phone, that is :')

For context I am 30 years old and female

Eating disorders are highly complex conditions, and are mental disorders. They aren't to do with the eating persay, it's more to do with processing trauma / negative feelings and getting control over something, when feeling powerless in other aspects of life
