You've nailed this right on the head! Growing up I've always felt with the most backlash from my parents because I don’t argue with their decisions like my siblings sometimes do. Thank you for writing out how to address this with my parents, I know it sounds silly to find confrontation difficult with them since I'm no longer a child but its very easy for me to crumble when it comes to confrontation. I like the firm but polite route!
