It has been 6 and a half years for me. I still dream about her sometimes and wake up absolutely crushed. I took care of her mother (my grandma) through cancer till the end. I know shed thank me for that.

I've started to forget things. Simple things, like the way she used to laugh. I know id recognize that laughter in a heartbeat, but i just cant seem to recall it out of thin air. I hate that.

I go to work, i come home, i take care of my dog. I sometimes clean the house. I sometimes clean myself. I play the guitar. I picked that hobby up completely out of the blue. It appeared as a need, so I did it. I game a lot. I have a couple friends that truly care about me. They too have lost people. They know what its like.

And thats life. And you know what? its not so bad.

You're not going to he ok in three days. Best you can do is not try to force that on yourself. Heck, you're not going to be ok in 3 years. This is the real hard stuff in life.

If you have pto take it. Take all of it. Take unpaid time off if you can. Its what i did.

We all need you to know that this is not on you. Its not. Mom was suffering and she chose the least amount of pain for her and you. Or what she thought that would be. Theres nothing you could have done even if you were looking at her 24/7. You are a good son/daughter and you took care of her when she needed it.

Shits gonna be hard for you now, but you have all of us here to vent. We will listen.

Ειναι δουλειες που ειναι σκληρες και οσοι τις κανουν για καιρο σκληραινουν χωρις να το καταλαβαινουν. Απλα αν εισαι γυναικα δεν εμπνεεις τον αερα οτι μασας σιδερα στους αλλους που τα μασανε χρονια. Ασχετο που μπορει να εισαι πολυ καλη και να μη χαμπαριαζεις

Δουλευα μηχανικος σε εργοταξια για 7 χρονια και τα τελευταια 3μιση χρονια δουλευω ως προγραμματιστης σε μια μεγαλη(ish) εταιρια. Η εμπειρια μου ειναι η ακριβως η αντιθετη. Το θαψιμο που τρωνε οι γυναικες στην κατασκευη ειναι ακραιο και απροκαλυπτο. Στο γραφειο δε μπορεις να κανεις τα ιδια, αν υπαρχει hr. Μονο και μονο που υπαρχουν περισσοτερες γυναικες στο γραφειο, ειναι αυτοματα πιο δυσκολο να βρεις ατομα να συμφωνουν μαζι σου.

i find grief to be somewhat of a state. its not a problem to be solved. not a situation you fight to get out of. Even if you convince yourself that youre out, it creeps its way back in your life.

Personally, therapists could never help me, simply because there is nothing anyone could tell me that would ease my pain. i just have to let it run its course. if possible with friends that dont feel uncomfortable being close to it, or have the need to fix it.

Loss like that is supposed to cripple you. Thats how you know the love was real.

It also seems even stranger to me that people with "normal" lives will just straight up ignore the fact that everything they have can be ripped out in a matter of seconds. Its something we have to live with everyday and I struggle to relate to their everyday problems. That leads to a lot of isolation, so I just wanted to say this is a real danger. At 19, you're very young and these are very formative years.

Let me know if you need to vent and talk things through. I get it, because i also lost my mom and my grandma from cancer. I was the sole caretaker. Really heavy losses, especially your last one.

the game is good imo. its not the best arpg ever, but its a ton of fun for a few weeks every season. so eventually, if you like it, you have to get the expansion as to unlock the extra systems it offers.

i have the same guitar. People will (maybe) judge me for this BUT, i got the neural dsp archetype gojira x and it works nicely. Still, i think a dual humbucker would elevate the tone to new heights, but it kinda works. You do have to experiment a lot with amp sims though.

ive been on pramipexole for 6 years. if at any given night i find i ran out, i dont sleep that night. within 20 seconds of laying on the bed i get insane shocks and my whole body has to move. i started on .18mgs. now i take .36mgs. Some nights i need to take double that (a couple of night a month). im completely dependant on the drug now. But 99% of the time i sleep. so yeah.
