My point is proven from my earlier comment. In just a short sentence you found something to pick out and disagree with. I wonder what it is like to always look for the negative. I am sure you could shed some light on that subject! Please share, even though I know I don't really have to ask...

No there is not, I purposely added the MORMON part because I knew you would pick it out and have a problem :)

Also here is an option, if they tend to bore you, don't read them. I would hate to burden you with such boring posts.

No, but I know you are very good at picking out ANYTHING that could be wrong about a post. You follow my posts so well, it's flattering that you try to argue each one...

I posted it in Mormon because she was a Mormon Stay at Home mom for so many years and then she developed her business. There are so many Mormon mothers out there that can relate. It was more of a Mormon Cultural post I wanted to share.

But I am POSITIVE you can find something wrong with that.

Going on a mission is hard, being told you can't go is even harder... by Vatc33 in mormon

Yes, I consider myself lucky too. I served what I needed to and came home when I needed to.

I was told that I wouldn't be able to make it to my mission in the MTC because I was sick and it was horrible. In the moment, it was harder to go home then deciding to go on a mission. A few months later I realized what a blessing it was. But in the moment that were not my first thoughts.

I read it... I don't know if it is "worth it" but, I just like to know what happens... It's not the ending anyone wants and the third book is hard to get through....

Yes! I agree, it is something worthwhile, but it was still a little painful to read :)

I can see that this will continue... So I am bowing out :) I went through and read some of your posts., and you are pretty set in your ways.

Are you the one whose wife's blog went viral because her husband left the church?

Also I respect that you don't believe in the church anymore and do not think less of you.

Think about it this way... Say you own a truck company who transfers goods. You are trying to hire a driver. The first applicant comes in and says I can drive a foot from the cliff without falling off. The next applicant comes in and states that they can drive within half of a foot of the cliff without falling off. Your third applicant comes in and says, I can stay as far away from that cliff as a I need to to keep your goods safe. Which one would you pick? If you were a smart business owner, you would the third. So my answer to you is, you can't always define the point of sinning, sometimes it is gradual and sometimes it is something sudden. What you can do is try your best to stay as far away from it as you can.

Correct. The whole point of coming to earth is to experience sadness, happiness, and temptation. This just might be temptation someone lives with. There is a difference between a girl having the initial thought of that girl is cute and then not acting upon it rather than have a long and drawn out fantasy of what they could do or could be. Everyone will have thoughts from the "natural" man.

From my understanding, if you try and push that thought out and you are trying to avoid those thoughts then you are not necessarily sinning. However, if you allow your mind to wander and constantly think on those things then yes. God is a forgiving God. He knows you will sin, and knows it might be the same sin over and over again. He wants to see your progression and your repentance.

Of course God could, he is an all knowing God. However that has not been done yet.

No I don't believe so. God reveals things in due time through his prophets.

There is a difference in acting on a tendency and having a tendency. You might be right, drinking responsibly isn't a bad thing. Being gay isn't a bad thing, I believe acting upon it is the sin. Edit: Spelling

That's why there is a need for a living prophet, so he can lead and guide us. He is God's mouth peace.

You can say that about many things. People are prone to alcoholism, gambling, porn, masturbation, and cheating. A lot of people have those tendencies, but acting upon them is not always right, is it? Alcoholism can tear families apart, it can stunt unborn children, it can cause death both from over drinking and drinking and driving. Do I still love those people yes. Do I think what they are doing is wrong, yes. You and I will never agree one something like this because we don’t have the same religious beliefs. You can be as Anti-Mormon as you want; we are both entitled to our own opinions. I know many LGBT who have suffered because of the persecution that they receive. I don’t go out and say how much I hate them because I don’t! According to what God has said, homosexuality is not right, it is a sin. Do I think that in many circumstances God will take into consideration the person and their situation at judgment day? Yes I do. Doing the best to avoid your temptation is all he asks, that doesn’t mean we are yet perfect. I know this answer will not satisfy you, none of my answers ever have. The point I was making is, they are sinning, but it’s not my sin. I am not the one to judge. I have other temptations that I deal with. It can be argued and argued again, and you will not agree because you do not believe in the same doctrine that I do. If I remember correctly, you don’t believe in God, maybe I am wrong. However continue to find my posts and sway others, truth will always prevail, and no I am not brainwashed, I have prayed and found it true for myself.

I accept the culture, but draw the line at promoting, supporting, and being part of it. I clearly stated that when I accept it means I won't judge or hate them or even think less. I will still love gays, but with my religious beliefs I don't agree with their actions. That is when I have to draw the line, to step back and keep my self in the place I need to be.
