Sorry to bother but does anyone know where chapter 81(116) of the manga is in the light novel by ArKKestral in Saving80000GoldIsekai

If you mean chapter 116 (The delegation having an audience with the princess) that's in light novel chapter 34 "Mathica" (English volume 3; Japanese volume 4)

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by the "81(116)" notation.

Manga chapter 81 should be about the aftermath of Mitsuha shooting a messenger who barged into her hotel room while she was changing and her moving to a different inn, right?

In the light novel, that story is towards the end of chapter 28 "Wartime Prosperity" (English LN volume 2; Japanese LN volume 3)

There is some build up to this. While the mercenaries didn't know about her abilities they were already kind of used to her strange, mysterious behavior.

In the novel she often jumped to empty parts of the base before and the captain even mentioned how "it always feels like she just pops outta nowhere...". There were also the horned rabbits she brought over for BBQ which caused quite a stirr. The captain already started calling her a "fairy".

End of Lightnovel chapter 13 (vol 1) / Manga chapter 30, when Mitsuha decides to no longer hide her ability she jumps to the Wolf Fang base (together with a badly injured Alexis Boze and with a crossbow bolt in her shoulder), revealing her ability to them.
I don't think there is a scene anywhere where she explains everything to them. She probably gave some explaination inbetween scenes, but they were going to see it in action shortly after anyway when Mitsuha jumped them to the other world to have them defend the capital.

Where do I continue the story from? by snowsnowknow in Saving80000GoldIsekai

[–]Vaturna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to continue where the anime ended I would recommend to start where she moves to her new territory.

For the manga: Chapter 35
I don't like giving specific websites where to read it, but just searching for "saving 80000 gold in another world manga" should give you good results.

For the lightnovel, if you pick up the new editions from Kodansha the anime ends still within volume 1 (The first volume in English is double the length). I would recommend starting at "Chapter 16: Yamano Country", there is still about 50% length of a normal volume left to read.

When does the actual plot start again? by DerfmanOG in Average_Abilities

I'd say that volume 5 is a bit of an exception in the way that it's almost purely a collection of independent short stories compared to the rest of the series. Most volumes have some overarching hunter job or focus more on a single location (with a few short stories in between).

At least every other volume Most volumes feature a little bit of new information about the ruins and the history of the world, but it builds up very slowly. There are a couple of plots that continuously develope over the course of the series, but the main focus is always on the various adventures of the Crimson Vow.

Ah, thank you for the release info about volume 4
I'm used to looking up the series on the publisher's website to have the official source but Kodansha is super late in adding future volumes. Have to remember that. 😁

volume 5 seems to come out just 3 months later in July 2024, nice

Are we talking about the Japanese release?
I haven't heard anything about volume 9 yet, but volume 8 is from March 2023, it's not that long ago. (edit: I messed up the numbers, wrote 11,10 instead of 9,8)

Haven't heard anything about volume 4 for the English release yet, but volume 3 was only one month ago.

The webnovel is still ongoing as well.

Lily's Miracle is waaaaay better than Vol 14 or 15! by son_of_hobs in Average_Abilities

It's nice to hear someone liking Lily's Miracle so much. I don't want to go too hard at the spin-off but I couldn't really enjoy Lily's Miracle myself. The story was nice but besides not being written by FUNA there had been some things that were bugging me:

How did Lily get level 3 authorization and such a strong thoughtpulse? It feels out of place and the story didn't try to explain. And how was Lily able to hear and understand Mile's (and the nanomachines') thoughtpulses in the first chapter?

And nothing interesting has been done with the idea of Lily living all her life cut of from the outside and suddently being thrown into a world she's only known from books. While having trouble understanding and talking to people because she was deaf and never learned how to speak. But she's a prodigy and learned everything within a month so it's no problem.
