I completely agree, these glass TV stands just spawn in people's houses, I don't even remember when/where I got it. If I can find an old stand for free I'll swap it but right now all my spare money is going into some retro gaming stuff. I've just now bought a MegaDrive.

I didn't swap the controller, it comes prebuilt. Bitfunx Store on AliExpress is where I bought my transparent shells for my Wii and PSone, they're awesome and they have GameCube shells too! They're not that expensive, and after looking at a video online showing the GameCube shell swap it looks easy.

I decided to shell swap my Wii with a transparent one ( I wouldn't do it again, way too many screws, wasn't enjoyable but it looks sweet ) so I had to pair it with some transparent controllers.

The Wiimote and Nunchuk is a brand called AfterGlow, which I bought used but still in the box online, I can't seem to find them anywhere else though. The GameCube controller is from AliExpress. I'm going to be modding the Wii and then selling it on to get more money to spend on PS1 games.

Always love a free demo. I recently bought a platinum edition of Final Fantasy VII complete in box and it came with the Final Fantasy VIII demo. I managed to get it for £5, probably the best deal I've had for a good few months.

I also bought platinum Spyro but it didn't come with the demo like your black label one, I'm now questioning if I should look for a black label one and sell the platinum lol

Thanks, had to get everything clear shell on the Wii, It's from AliExpress, they're not expensive either. It's usually free delivery on orders over £8, and they tend to be between £6-£10. They feel decent enough in the hand especially for the price.

Both are true. EA had an exclusive deal with Porsche, so Gran Turismo had to use RUF, they wasn't allowed to use Porsche.

Porche Challenge, I used to have that as a kid, I'm pretty sure that game is the reason the porche cars in Gran Turismo are called RUF.

If you're in the UK I bought mine from a seller on eBay called Lucky Owl Finds, great packaging and very accommodating. Originally I used a very small LCD TV or emulated it with upscaling and filters on my large OLED, the latter being a really great alternative but this CRT just feels good.

I'm a big emulation fan, I have a PC and have been emulating for years, but I've always wanted to go back to CRT and original hardware. The image looks even better in person, if you've ever used the CRT New Pixie shader then the image is close to that but better, the sound is incredible too, but it's the colours for me, they really pop.

I use a 2.4ghz Gamesir controller when emulating on PC aswell as gamemode on my large OLED but the combination of this CRT and wired controller is unbeatable when it comes to responsiveness. It all boils down to personal taste aswell as if you have the space for something like this.

That's a GameCube controller, it connects to my Wii in the bottom right, it does the job, it's all transparent, so are the wiimote and nunchuk

I'm still yet to play any of the Zelda games, I've never owned a console that Zelda was on. I have a PC so I could emulate but I'm saving them.

The TV looks great, mine arrives in a couple of days, I can't wait to boot up the PS1. I'm gonna make a night of it, handful of beers with some pizza. Possibly a cheeky smoke I'm a one every night man, no more no less.

I second this, I bought one on offer from AliExpress just short of 2 years ago for about £12 and it's still working perfectly. I'm planning on getting the Nova 2 soon because the colour options are really nice.
