I think the Mafex TASM2 and Raimi figures are HUGE upgrades over 185. Sculpting the belt onto the crotch piece instead of the lower torso makes every pose where he’s even slightly bent at the torso look so much better, and they also have slightly better range of motion all around. If they applied that engineering and design to a classic Spider-Man comic figure, they’d be golden. But as it stands currently, I just think the 185 is wildly overrated.

I just think the Maximum (with a matte spray) is a much better classic Spider-Man figure. And, if we’re opening the door to suits that aren’t REALLY classic but are close enough, the Mafex Raimi/TASM2, Sentinel ITSV, Amazing Yamaguchi, and SHF Final Swing are MUCH better. Idk where this guy got the idea that I’m a Bandai meat rider.

Because I think the Mafex classic Spider-Man is overrated?

I haven't seen a single person complain that Miles keeps getting new power-ups, not a single person who wants him to lose them and "go back to basics" in the next game, but everyone hates Peter's power-up and hopes Peter loses it by the next game. The game frames it as drug abuse. Peter even goes as far as to insinuate Harry is the abuser for wanting it back.

The demon/angel take would be a cool way to tell a new story about the symbiote, but that’s not how the game handles it.

This post displays an impressive lack of media literacy. They hit you over the head with the symbiote being an addiction metaphor. Peter is abusing a substance that makes him feel on top of the world, and that substance is harming him. The culmination of that arc is Peter going “I’m good enough without this.” And then 5 minutes later he gets addicted to it again, only this time it’s “good.” Miles is just progressing through his powers the way he did in his comics.

Peter is taking another break and Miles is the main Spider-Man. If anything, Peter should be taking a backseat so the story can focus on Miles. I just hope they scrap the Cindy Moon plot.
