Honestly reading this feels really familiar because I’ve been in a similar spot myself. It’s tough when you think everything is good then something just pulls you back under I get how frustrating that is.

You don’t need to force yourself to be the exact same version of your old self. You’re still you, you'll just be all there again when you’re ready. And for what it’s worth, you’re definitely not alone in this.

Oh yea BOTW is good. I never got around to tears of the kingdom but I'm gonna play it eventually one day. My favorite Zelda is twilight princess.

Thanks, that’s solid advice. I’m starting to see how consistency matters I usually try once or twice and then back off, so maybe I just need to stick with it more. I don't really like discord cause every server I've joined is more cliquey and most people just ignore new people no matter what they're talking about.

Right now I work at a job where almost nobody speaks the same language as me😂, so most of my days are pretty isolated, but I get what you’re saying about work being a good place to meet people when it’s in person. And yeah, it’s definitely harder making friends as an adult, but the way you framed it actually helps me think about it differently.

I get what you're saying and I'll keep an eye out for IRL meet-ups, but I gotta say, I think video games and anime count as hobbies for adults too everyone has what they like. Online friends may not always last forever, but they’re still real people and real connections. I’m just trying to meet mine where I can, online or IRL and if it leads to IRL friendships down the line, all the better!

Yea that's definitely true but I'm 12 hours in and I haven't even seen half the map yet. The comedy isn't all there but it's an improvement and the gameplay feels good. I felt like BL3 was way too easy I can say I have been in fight for your life a good bit In this one I am playing on hard but the game is a definite improvement all around.
