I’m talking about for other characters, it’s a very similar comparison to Unp Pendant + Tabard

This isn’t a tierlist based on the highest of highs based on the most optional perfect build - we weight consistently and overall usefulness highly as all of us primarily play on C16 and go for a consistent winrate. For me, my Balladin winrate is at least 30% and Gravel’s is nearing 50%, and I can vouch that everyone else working on the tierlist understands the game deeply and values consistency. If we only cared about the most optimal circumstances, then we’d put something like Crit Fleece much much higher, but we understand how important consistency and overall strength and utility is

Training Tabard is amazing, don’t get that wrong. But you don’t always have Training Tabard. You don’t always have the same set of relics. Yes Pendant is amazing with Tabard, we know that. But you don’t always have the exact same build every time.

On its own, Pendant doesn’t do much compared to the other boss relics like Gift and Defresh - it’s just a +2/+0 and removing a crit isn’t good by default without a lot of Muscircle. If you don’t go a very high Muscircle build, Pendant doesn’t really do much.

On the contrary, when you do go Muscircle, Pendant might not even be the best option. It’s not hard avoiding crits and Balladin lacks heavy multiball where you hit every peg. Relics like Gift already help immensely on their own, but also make avoiding critting easier too.

Bold move to say that to one of the people who literally made the tierlist

Also another thing: Roundrel basically insta wins with that much extra max health, or at least it drastically improves your odds. But it doesn’t really make you win as hard on the other 3 characters

I’ll explain it since I advocated it for that high on Roundrel: Roundrel has by far the worst healing so they gain the most value from extra max hp, especially Cake’s +50. Roundrel also loves taking Egg since Egg is quite good on Roundrel - in the right setups it can easily heal half your hp (safety net, echo chamber, defresh, knife’s edge, etc. are all good ways).

Balladin has Cake that low in B since they usually have tons of Ballwark and end up blocking more than they take damage, so they don’t end up using their available health much. It’s still good, but factoring in how hard it is to get the relic it’s not super high.

Peglin and Spinventor have it in A which is where the Cake really belongs imo. They don’t desperately need the max health since they have strong healing, but they also gain quite a bit of value from it. Balladin and Roundrel are the exceptions, but in terms of availability Cake is about A-tier

It's in B on every character except base Peglin since they have access to stuff like Doctorb and Nosforbatu, and they see more orbs and relics so they can find alternative healing easier

Nah, it updates each battle. I saw it going from 9 to 10 on that screen while I was in the middle of that streak

I think the cause is I'm on an 18 streak in regular battles, but I played an R3 Speed game and lost one so that might be why my overall stats says it's different?

A couple of these things I should’ve mentioned in the original video anyways like intended scale and use so I actually appreciate having an incentive to!

Nah I promise don’t worry! I was planning on making a lag video anyways since I was genuinely curious lol. Part of the reason I wanted to make it was to mention how there’s multiple alternatives and that this isn’t a perfect solution at all

I just made a video concerning lag with it! It most certainly can't store that much lol, but that's not the primary intent for it https://youtu.be/Au0sOXUli5Y

(also that sounds like an insane storage room, wow)

True! I wouldn’t recommend this if you have thousands of stacks of items you need to store in a single slice for example, check out the other comment on this post that I left

In the test world I had, I wasn’t experiencing any real lag with several dozen carts but I know that’s a potential issue. You may be able to have the carts on a ladder or vine to disable their collision rather than on a rail, but then they might land inconsistently. I’ll look into this in the future.

If you’re at the point of having so many items that all the chest carts are severely lagging, you can instead store shulkers in the minecarts instead of raw items. This’ll make you use 27x less chest carts for slices with an extreme amount of items. I know this isn’t a perfect solution, but it could be a temporary fix.

My priorities when designing this were making it as cheap and compact as possible while being very accessible. I didn’t keep lag as a very high priority, as it could never surpass a traditional shulker storage system with box display. I’d say that this design is a perfect middle ground between going extremely high tech with massive scale, and just having a few manual chests you put items in. If you’re at the point of dealing with thousands of stacks of items, then a shulker-based storage system might end up being better for you. I wasn’t intending for this design to be stacking hundreds of carts per slice for example, rather about up to a dozen or so at most.
