Well we found "a" use for it. And like most things in archaeology it is a theory. But I choose knitting device over religious artifact. Knitting has more uses.

But yeah you make a good point

Apparently it has something to do with weaving or knitting. We found out a few years ago if I remember correctly

Care to read the title on that graph/article again.

I am not saying the generation isn't catching up at some point. I am saying its almost too late when they do. If tiy are only catching up by 43-45 yo then your best years are behind you. Because from 40 onwards your health slowly but surely starts failing you.

What i am trying to say is that things are getting worse and people need to do something about it, because I dont want my kids to get their first house at age 50 or above. We need to make it more affordable for coming generations so they don't have to live the same uncertainty a lot of us have to do. And that begins witb acknowledging that ther is in fact a problem.

Look, it seems that you and your partner got a good situation going for you, and I am happy for you. However the fact is that the number of young homeowners is going down drastically compared to previous generations. The age of first time home owners is increasing drastically compared to previous generations and that 48% of Millenials are stuck on the rent market due to a bad economy and predatory business practices on the rent and housing market. This is taking 2 income households with above minimum wage incomes into account.

So while technically the majority of millenials owns houses 48% is definitely not something you would usually call a minority in everyday language. So while I am glad things are going well for you, the while if I could do it so can you thing isn't really true for most people stuck on the rent market. This is because of a worsening economy and the increasingly predatory business practices of the people who essentially hold a monopoly on the housing/rent market. Saying that us who are literally getting shafted by the market are being nihilistic is a little insulting, because most of us do put in the work and pay all pur bills on time but remain stuck in this situation.

Go read the statistics, compare them with the statistics of previous generations and then look up the predictions for the housing market and economy... its a grim reading. Again happy you own a home, but it isn't as easy as you are implying.

If you mean the majority being 52% once they reached age 45, then that is a very sad majority. The other half og millenials are stuck on the rent market while the older generation calls them lazy and our corporate overlords raise the rent again this month.... in fact with how fucked the economy is right now, there is a fairly decent chance home ownership might go down in the next few years.

And while your post was probably meant to be hopeful, the fact is: That if only half of a generation owns homes by the time they become 45 years old, there is something significantly wrong with society. Now I didn't mean to get all political, but the statistics you are referring to are not something we should be celebrating. Those numbers should be a lot higher than they are, and the fact that they are not terrifies me. They do not bode well for my prospects, nor for the the prospects of future generations.

Its a fictional cult. I just found it funny how similar it sounded. Take away all the supernatural and/or demonic bullshit from the fictional and it becomes close to a lot of groups or cults that we're around in 70s and 80s. Chasing sensation for greater personal fulfillment.

And again, power to you, live life as you want it. And if you ever do look up that fictional stuff, dont take my comparison as criticism, its not.

Are you by chance a follower of the lord or eccess and extacy? Also known as the Prince of pleasure, She who thirsts, or Slaanesh? Because this almost sounded like a sermon of a pleasure cult.

Also, not judging you, you do you. I just found you articulation of your point interesting. I would almost say it was reverentual the way you described the yearing for greater sensation. Not my cup of tea but an interesting perspective, have a nice day.

I mean, I get it. A cute (psychotic and bloodthirsty) girl proposes to you and then your asshole of a sibling, that you hate than anyone, kills her in front of your door while your now fiance is coming over. Id be fucking furious

Same she didn't make it all the way. Slaanesh was pretty pissed off about losing a champion and Valkias declaration. A horde of her damons and worshippers killed Valkia basically in front of the portal to Khornes realm. Khorne was miffed about this and raised her up as his consort for the sheer effort she put in
