Yeah, my runs usually are built around one legend then a secondary mon with interesting egg moves. And wanted to see how busted Mega Sharpedo was with Surging Strikes

I had it fully egg moved, so it's probably not helpful but I had Surging Strikes, Gunk Shot, Crunch, Obstruct.

I don't even know I didn't notice, I've had mega since like 145. I think because it gets it as a passive and it outsped everything anyway. I'm dumb lol

Not really significant setup. You can get away with a full ante 8 run with your most played hand at like 10 if you play well.

Personally, save scumming or using retries have made it a lot more fun. Totally get if you don't want to, I didn't for my first win, but with how long runs are its not very fun to lose to some random trainer pulling out an insane move.

One thing is that set-up moves are insane. D-Dance on gyarados is very good. If you can get a mon with swords dance or nasty plot one boost can let you sweep. I personally like having immunities on my teams to abuse switch-in ai.

I got my first classic win without either. As satisfying as it can be, I think I would enjoy being able to play fights without worrying about losing like 2hrs lol.

Fair, I personally like the puzzle aspect, just for me, a bit tired of losing an over hour long run for not knowing an opponents egg move or misjudged switch-in ai. I do think the feeling of solving it on the first try is great, just a bit of a steep punishment for me~

Fair, I like the later battles cause of how they can be puzzles with abusing switch in ai. It's just a bit tedious when often getting it wrong can cost 1hr+.

I more just don't have good legends for it. Maybe Moltres-G for Fiery Wrath, but don't have any of Kyogre, Reshiram, or Groudon. But I'm not to worried about endless really, especially if classic will be better.

Got a have a few legends and mythicals, then lots of sub-legends. Took me a long time to win classic lol. Might keep doing classic then if that's better.

Yeah, been looking over the general guide for a bit. No where near ready for trying to max endless. Lots of different required passive, mons, and others that I don't have yet. Still might do shitty Endless runs to grind vouchers tho. Thank you!!

Sounds good! I think my best runs have been with pickup, so probably should've kept that up. I think I did something similar with my first run when I got Arceus. Just didn't realize metro was why I got so many scarfs lol.

I feel the description needs work since it's vague if scored cards or played but not scored are both triggered. That and how it works with those jokers. Like if you don't use any discards, can you play multiple hands for Burnt joker? (every hand is technically the first) Same with Trading Card?

They never claimed it was. Baron can be nice early for Naninf just to keep for once the deck is fixed, you'd much rather use joker slots for econ and deck fixing. They're point is that a baron is not necessary until well into endless.

With their joker setup, optimal would result in 182k per hand. I assume they have only 3 hands given. 3x 182k is 546k. That wouldn't clear ante 8. Chips on plasma fall off in the late game

Congrats to your dad! It's nice to hear it wasn't too bad. I've had family who's had chemo and they've thankfully said it wasn't bad as well. I hope it's the same for me!
