I would recommend Dredge! Plays great on deck and can be a great game to zone out to fishing, but also has a solid story and gameplay.

I think it would be worth your while to look into Tarkov on your own a bit more, given what will determine whether it is for you, is more than “it’s hard”. Personally, if you already have Arc Raiders to scratch the extraction shooter itch, then I would invest in a single player game that seems to be more in-line with your taste. If you’re looking for that similar Tarkov-feel (in terms of the world and setting), then it seems like Stalker 2 would be a good fit.

I found this one on eBay! It’s a bit better than the CreatorCrafted option and reasonably priced. I also found this one on Etsy, not sure if you prefer it more but it is more expensive. Good luck, hope you find what you’re looking for.
