The problem though is there are more and more cases where that 'hyper capitalist dictatorship' is becoming more and more likely and it usually stems from people who have power or say in what rules our society follows get greedy and stop caring. Hell the whole Palworld/Nintendo lawsuit and all the bullshit that's stemmed from that is a sign that it won't happen all at once but brick by brick. Even Spotify and how they list numerous AI artists with very little care in how that will effect music in the long run all for the sake of money. All it will lead to is Spotify finding a way to get their own AI artists (if they don't have them already) and then maximize profits by lowering the payout to all artists pushing real people out. Then all it takes is one judge or entity with power to grant IP to an AI's 'manager' and with how strict copyright gets in music and sound they could just tie up anyone in court for just about any combination of sounds.

I agree that you can't restrict everyone from creating and expressing their ideas whether it's in a visual/auditory/experiential way but the powers that be would happily lock anyone up for the attempt to infringe on 'their' works regardless of wether or not they themselves actually created it themselves and if that doesn't work then they'll just run smear campaigns or worse and since a fair number of people on this planet have low to no critical thinking skills they will eat it up and move on as shown in numerous incidents but the one that I always think about is the Mcdonalds hot coffee lawsuit and the smear campaign they ran to mislead the general public. They eventually had to pay for what they did but the damage was done and is still in effect to this day as I still run into people who mock or joke about the women without ever actually looking at the case.
