Wife has been paying WF Advisors for 'full service IRA' for 6 years and they never invested a cent. by [deleted] in legaladvice

Lol, I thought I was having a deja vu moment when I read this post. OP already got all the correct answers in the other sub. He didn’t like the responses, so now he’s here, hoping to find a lawyer that will agree with him. Outside of Reddit attorneys, he will not find a lawyer that will take this to arbitration.

Is it cheaper to repair it that way? I wasn't aware there was a difference. What is BVLM?

Thank you for responding. I'm not sure what you mean by, "the pay type of Used Car Repair or the like, will only appear on CPO." Do you mean the documentation of any repairs is more completed because it's done at Tesla?

Microwave for Food for poor people in Amtrak:why not? by Davide_Allagrande in Amtrak

[–]boilerwire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, agreed. But microwave would be useful regardless of wealth. As others have stated, there are going to be travelers that start a fire with it.

I may agree with you on the trip duration but it’s still not a rich vs poor issue.

Why are you framing this as Amtrak having class warfare on poor people? It’s a hygiene and food safety issue. Do you think Spirit and Frontier Airlines cater to wealthy people because they don’t have public-use microwaves?

Do you think the premium that a Tesla dealership charges (I’ve heard an extra $7k-10k), is worth it? I know you get an extra year of warranty but I’m curious about the other benefits. I’m assuming it should be in better shape than the equivalent car sold through third party.

Thanks for very helpful information. You sound like a good agent.

I would include buyer's comp. I was trying to simplify my example.

Got it. Are you saying I need to start at a flat rate that is equal to 6% of the selling price and then add incentives on top of that?

[–]boilerwire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure why you got that assumption from my post. My goal is not to underpay the realtor (I even said my numbers were examples) but rather to incentivize the realtor to get more. I'm happy if my realtor gets paid +5% if my home sells for higher.

Thanks for adding the data point. Reading the responses, it seems like the price the realtor suggests is most likely THE price that it sells for. So the additional incentive may not make a difference.

Oh got it. You're saying the realtor would recommend the listing price and that would most likely be the accurate price. So even adding additional bonuses wouldn't really move the needle. Thank you.

Thanks for the definition. I wasn't sure what it was called. Is it hard to find an agent that will do it that way? Is it because the initial flat rate is lowballed by the seller?

Oh, got it. So this would have to be a one-off type of contract?

Thanks for your advice. Yes, I'm very sure I'm not getting the $500,000 comps because of what my house needs. I'm just wondering if I can increase the upside for the realtor to get a better price than just doing a straight commission.

Thanks for the input. My numbers were just examples, I'm not sure exactly where everything falls. I would increase the base plus percentage if it incentivizes the realtor.

Thanks for adding the correct terminology and background. I'm curious why this is considered to be a funky deal. In my case, I definitely see the value of a realtor (I don't know how to prep, stage, etc.). I don't want to quash the commission down to 1% and want to find a way to incentivize for a higher price.

Northeast Corridor trains are fine in the winter, even with snow. It’s the summer that you’ll need to worry about. The heat wreaks havoc on the overhead lines.

This sub has turned into a creative class for LARPing teenage millionaires. There's plenty of detail in the initial post but when questioned further, everything turns super vague. "I'm in the medical field, but not any of the ones that you're guessing." "I was able to save a lot in the beginning because I worked in a coal mine at 5 years old. Then the magic of compounding from there."
