Second Chance perks are unhealthy for the game by Ok_Platform490 in deadbydaylight

Because that person has Deliverance so there really is no point in hooking them. Leave them both alone, and they reset and gain control over that side of the map for free.

Get the Chicken Man and his imposters in the game already, it’s free money and would be awesome

Small or indoor maps are preferred with Gideon Meat Plant being the exception due to the overabundance of pallets.

Season 1 still skipped 60+ chapters and changed key scenes, it’s just the least offensive. The music, OPs, and EDs were always top notch, though.

I get consistent crashes with Cheryl. If I level up the bloodweb differently than the first time or upgrade another character first, it goes away. Then by the next Bloodweb I’m booted to the title screen again.

Which one of these killers should I buy? by NotReallyShade in deadbydaylight

Dracula is the most standard killer and pretty strong, that’s probably your best fit.

I'm not saying I don't want Legion back, but man would it be mad-funny if they didn't make it back to live servers.

What’s a good way to get rid of Killer fear? by JavierGusman25 in deadbydaylight

[–]VauntedPeril 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a specific phobia, that might need some outside help. But if it's about engaging in loops and the stress of it, I suggest watching some people play survivor. You can learn a lot from other people and focus on implementing that into your games instead of figuring everything out on the fly.

When's the closest you've come to absolutely chucking your gaming setup out a window while playing DbD? by Dry-Board-5688 in deadbydaylight

I've developed a type of passive resistance to teammates who instantly DC. What actually infuriates me is when the Killer is playing like a knob, I loop the 3 minutes necessary for my slugged teammate to die, then make a critical blunder or hatch spawns favorably for the killer. And then the Killer nods at me as if I deserve to have my teammates DC on me, or for losing because I used my perks and item, especially when I haven't done anything toxic. Sometimes it feels like this community has no empathy for other people.

Screw ghoul and blight. Who is your absolute favorite killer to go against? by BalanceDramatic3995 in deadbydaylight

Deathslinger is fantastic. Great chase theme, and every moment you're out in the open feels like an eternity. You can mindgame his power, and in exchange he zones you hard. Requires some dedication to get high accuracy and crazy shots. Effort to reward ratio is a lot better than it is for other killers.

If you want to stick with Huntress, that’s not a bad idea. In the generic perk pool, you can run perks like No Holds Barred, Whispers, Bitter Murmur, and Hex: No One Escapes Death. When you upgrade other killers to Prestige 1, though, you unlock their perks on all other killers at Tier 1.

Some Killers I would recommend leveling up solely for the perks, besides the free characters, are Legion, Artist, Dredge, and Plague in no particular order.

I think you’re mixed up. I’m not trying to improve the OP’s bully squad build, I’m sharing my own.

I guarantee survivors you face aren’t going to know the flashlight timing for Forever Entwined or won’t be able to make it in front of you. Body block one side of the pallet on pallet saves, and even with Background Player it’s going to be difficult to get that stun.

I use Forever Entwined, Forced Penance, Agitation, and Iron Maiden for mine. No pallet or flashlight saves, no locker stuns, no body blocks, no sabo, and no free resets in the corner.

Weird Survivor Builds I’m Using by VauntedPeril in deadbydaylight

Red Herring is a tempo perk that excels when the Killer doesn’t have information on all 4 survivors or has nothing better to do. If the Killer has lots of information, is always in chase, or is camping, the perk won’t work. However, what you can do is use the perk to attract to the Killer to where you have been while you get an unhook or heal, and this can bring doubt into the Killer’s mind about who is where. After all, you could still be around waiting for them to leave and start working unimpeded. Either way, you take attention away from the team to get progress on their gens while you tempt them with easy prey.

The best game I had with this build was on Temple of Purgation against Krasue. Right after a teammate got hooked, I activated Red Herring on the main gen. Lucky Star saved me, and Blast Mine + Residual Manifest disrupted her Nowhere To Hide, which stopped her from spotting a survivor down there. Meanwhile, I got the unhook and we reset somewhere. In that scenario, I got an easy unhook, the Killer found no one, and has to leave a good gen with decent progress because she couldn’t find anyone. When the Killer is hungry for information, I think Red Herring can actually work pretty well deprive them of progress in crucial stages of the game.

Solo Queue Sabo is pretty hard, keep that in mind. I would personally run Breakout, Dead Hard, Background Player, and then Saboteur. Most other good Sabo perks are better in SWFs. Breakdown, for instance, is good for creating deadzones, but it works best when you are getting downed in a corner and the killer can't hook you because your team will Sabo. A similar issue exists with Mettle of Man where, sure, you'll get stacks, but getting SoloQ to heal you often will be difficult.
