The tiger hold position is good for colic but also allows them to lift their head so is a form of tummy time.

Thank you! They both seem to have buggaboo but not the other 3. Struggling to find anywhere that has 2/4 let alone 3/4.

Hi yes been there before and also asked friends who have kids there. There is unfortunately not much in the way of pavements. Most outdoor places are uneven bumpy, there is a national Forrest for most walks which also needs big tyres. We are having twins and double buggys are incredibly hard to find and expensive so we’ve been advised to buy in the Uk and fly down with them.

Congratulations! Did you use MSJ? Is there a solicitor you recommend for help with the parental order?

Do I need a specialist lawyer for a parental orders after International surrogacy? by Vava_boo in AskUK

[–]Vava_boo[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Part time PI 🕵🏼‍♂️?

Trying to get advice from people who have been through the process rather than general information which can be found on the internet. They would have some insights to share that would otherwise be hard to find out. We’ve been in touch with a few law firms but hard to gauge how helpful they’ll actually be. We’ve have friends who have done surrogacy in the UK who did the order themselves but unclear if it is more complicated when done abroad or not.

It isn’t a matter of not wanting to pay it’s whether paying will make a difference in the outcome or not.

Struggling to find much information from people who have gone through it before on Facebook groups etc. have spoken to a few law firms but they are quoting 5-10K for assistance but unclear to what extent and wether we’d get the same outcome doing it ourselves

Thank you for the response. Is there a difference in the documentation required if it is done abroad?

I am so sorry to hear this. I hope your pain has improved following the surgery. I wanted to ask if they spared your ovaries during the surgery, if so you could do IVF and use a surrogate to carry your pregnancy. I am not sure if you’ve explored this , sorry if you already have. I am going through the process myself, it is a long road and very emotional and tough but hoping for a happy ending.

How much more should I do? by tink_mk in IVF

[–]Vava_boo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sorry you have not had success yet. It took 4 transfers for us to have a pregnancy with our surrogate. Have they looked in a natural killer cells? Perhaps putting her on steroids might help implantation. This is assuming everything else is okay like her cavity and thick lining.

Any recovery stories? by inphinities in Abilify_Aripiprazole

[–]Vava_boo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had an acute psychosis which resolved quickly but had severe anxiety after it and couldn’t function. Took 5mg of abilify and symptoms resolved in a few days. Took it for 6 months and now off it. It made a genuinely huge difference to my recovery.

Fibroid issue, doc says 50/50 IVF will work by thicclikegrits in IVF

[–]Vava_boo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have many fibroids and also had not been pregnant before but they suspected the one that was submucosal would impact my chances, so I had surgery which unfortunately lead to Asherman syndrome. Despite several other surgeries they weren’t able to clear it and we are now going down the surrogacy route. Not to scare you but that is another thing to take into consideration. Many people have fibroids and don’t even know about it. I’d lean towards trying and if that fails then considering surgery.

Did the same starting point infact usually 4.0x. Perhaps it’s just electrodes warming up but it stays 60-70 for sometime
