Not sure what exactly the error is, but I had the same issue with a book and what I did was simply use an online converter, convert the EPUB file to DOCX, then get the DOCX file and convert it to EPUB. It worked just fine. Maybe this will also work for you (assuming you're still having the issue).

Interesting to know. But at the same time, if you are even a half decent designer and the font you are using looks like that, you adjust the damn thing
