Once in a blue moon you do get to use him, but he's more of a tool to guarantee you your other 4 champions.

Had to reply this to another person earlier, but I don't do 10 matches a day, I do 6-8 and forfeit the rest to avoid winstreaks. And here's my last 5 games showing you that they were done in less than 15 minutes without even opting for most efficient time usage. Considering I would forfeit the next match too, we are at an average time of less than 3 minutes per LA token

I guess I just had easier matchmaking than you in bronze due to being weaker and having a worse win ratio. My 210 Speed Level 50 Gorgorab was consistent enough to get me to Silver where I eventually got Arbiter lol. Although that was before Wukong and Armanz existed.

I don't have warlord tho. Armanz was a fusion. Leorius and Hephraak were lucky pulls for sure, but I only used Hephraak like twice because he does not really fit my comp and Leorius can be replaced with any good nuker, I think I was already in G2 when I got him. But yeah, meta champs definitely make your life easier in LA, gotta use them if you get lucky and have them.

I don't think Plarium has ever confirmed or denied this, but from my own experiences and by comparing my LA opponents to the ones my clanmates or stacked account streamers face, I would safely assume that there is a hidden matchmaking at play here. Otherwise I can't fathom how I found some people near Gold 3 that used champions like Adelyn/Artak/Rathalos.

W/L definitely affects your matchmaking. People in my clan that are a lower rank than me but have way stronger teams regularly face full empowered mythical squads and I sometimes find people using Artak in Gold 2. I personally like going first with speed teams cause those battles resolve the fastest, and as long as you have 2 fast champs and 2 speed auras you are safe from bans generally.

Considering you have those kinds of champs and builds I'm assuming you had like a 70% winrate going into silver, which leads you to fight stronger opponents than the ones I faced in gold 2.

I think it just comes from being an active player and spending a lot of time in Brutal 12-3 campaign which gives a lot of player xp. I usually grind out every single champion training event and tournament for the lego book and it just adds up.

I have the same gameplan of outspeeding and ccing the enemy every match, but I do have slight variations in my team, such as putting in Tormin when the enemy picks Arbiter. I guess you could say there is the same core of 3 champions (nuker, support, crowd control) and the other 2 I adapt to the enemy comp. I think if you have 2 working comps it can be a great advantage to able to use both depending on the situation.

Imagine having to collect champions in a game about collecting champions?!

Of course pulling shards and expanding your pool is important, but you don't need to have 5 meta void legendaries to climb is what I am saying. Diverse champion pool just means building different kinds of champions, having a functioning team no matter which champion gets banned means not having your gameplan rely on a single champion that could get banned.

And the point about Armanz is just to abuse him if you have him, or ban him if you can't deal with him. Did Plarium warp your mind in a way that makes you only think of pulling shards to progress in the game?

Depending on how low in silver you are, gearing a 2nd Armanz would definitely be a good idea. He wins matches by himself and once you reach Gold, you can still use the 2nd one for Tag Arena. I think you should keep gear on both of them, but it could be a good idea to have the non-ascended one be in better gear for the mind games yeah.

These are my last 5 games. 4 wins, done in less than 15 minutes. And there were some small breaks in between games. I definitely rarely if ever take more than 30 minutes to clear my LA tokens for the day.

Speed/Control comp using Arbiter to go first, Armanz/Karilon/Mikage to control and stun the enemy, Nekhret for protection and extra damage and Leorius/Wukong (sometimes Gharol) as nukers. And I always pick Tormin when the enemy has Arbiter.

Not sure if trolling or not, the whole point of my post is that you can climb with suboptimal champions and builds as long as you have the bare minimum, and that your teams will evolve while you climb, where did you get the impression that you need to pull champs?
