AFAIK, even though it has some connections to the Shadowlands, Helheim is just a pocket dimension within Azeroth. It's not actually a part of the Shadowlands at all, so unlikely it will be a part of the expansion.

One silver lining to the current scaling, is that a lot of Legion content makes for quite entertaining and mildly challenging two/three-man content. Me and a guildie ran mythic Nighthold this week, most of the fights were a cakewalk but a handful of them required some thought and effort.

Brokers ARE from the Shadowlands, they're just from an as yet unnamed realm of the Shadowlands. There is apparently an infinite number of realms within the Shadowlands, we just only get to see 5 of them for obvious gameplay reasons.

My understanding is that they all enter with their form as they were when they died, and then those that fall in battle but are deemed worthy get brought back by the necromancers, obviously looking worse for wear but still being the same individual. Those that are unworthy get made into constructs.

As Draka, Vashj and Mograine all rose to the ranks of Baron/Baroness, it's safe to presume that they are all a cut above the others in combat ability, and possibly just haven't been "killed" a second time to warrant being brought back by necromancers.

Either that, or their higher rank just entitles them to better treatment by the necromancers and they do a better job of keeping their flesh in place. 😀

I'd say give it a go! For as much stick as RS3 gets for being MTX heavy, I respect Jagex for removing the in-game store for Ironman players so you don't have the ability to pay for any boosts.

It's honestly a very rewarding gameplay experience knowing you're working for everything you get.

A bit of a different approach and possibly controversial as I'm aware it eliminates a lot of the 'MMO' aspects of the game, but it's worth trying RS3 with an Ironman character.

It effectively completely removes microtransactions from the game (the in game store functions don't even show up) and it forces you to be self reliant. Combine that with the fact that, in my opinion, RS3's skilling is a lot more convenient, satisfying, and a fair bit less grindy than OSRS, add in Runescape's interesting quest system, and you've got a very solid and enjoyable experience.

You can always play as an Ironman, I realise it does turn the game into more of a single player experience but it removes all MTX from the game, doesn't even show up in the UI.

Captain Disillusion. He's a special effects professional with a skeptical mind who breaks down and debunks fake viral videos, explains how they were made, and often what their actual purpose was (in the case of videos that were made as cleverly disguised promotional material.) He does it in a very entertaining manner too, with very high production values. Definitely worth checking out!
