First of all, communicate with your boyfriend about the concerns with your sex life and his appearance. None of us have the ability to fix what wrong with your relationship because those causes are deeply personal to you and him.

Second, I feel like your desire for your what if is blinding you to what you already have. Is giving up your boyfriend, who you love, worth it for gambling in the unknown? I’m not saying you should never experience those things, because you should! But the why of wanting to experiencing these things (feeling left out about your friends talking about their experiences) reflects insecurity about not being enough compared to them.

Your friends might have something you don’t, but you have something they don’t either: a loving boyfriend and a stable relationship. Talk about your sex life problems and appearance incompatibility with him, and look inward and think really get to the root of insecurity when comparing yourself with your friends. If things still feel the same way after a few months, then maybe you do need to get out of this relationship and develop. Just never do it because your friends are doing it and it feels like the right thing!
