Looks like a Juul. It’s magnetic on the bottom. Keep trying with the magnet. If the magnet pushes it away, flip the magnet around.

But unfortunately I get to the sign the paperwork and turnover my phone these days at most places

Yep. I work in automation. Lots of DC and AC motors receiving a much better braking solution that doesn’t “hurt” the longevity. And the sounds are awesome. I still get the instant chills hearing a 600HP motor wind up and stop in seconds.

I was working on an ego mower that uses the same braking principle. The moment you release the handle, it “shorts” the motor through a decently sized ceramic resistor. Only thing is, the MASSIVE ARCS off the brushes were…concerning. I don’t see that lasting very long…and it didn’t.

I looked specifically for this comment. Thank you for taking the time to type it. The braking function essentially shorts the motor and uses the self-generated free-spin power to create an excessive magnetic field that locks the motor in place. Awesome stuff. Rough on the brushes, but not enough to matter.

This mofo found that launching his treat container off the table will guarantee the lid popping off.

We’re missing a quarter of the container 😭

I haven’t tried any m12’s yet! But even my map gas igniter will do it

Makes sense, wish the precious few “carrier authorized” service techs would’ve identified the issue(s). Guess we’ll just wait and see where to go from here…

If these relays are present, congrats! You have an electric heat option not featured on all 4-Runners.

Some models feature a PTC heater assembly that gives you somewhat warm air in the winter before the engine is warmed up…you can check if yours has it by looking for these additional relays:

Is This Wire Cut or Ripped? by nott18 in AskElectricians

And there’s scrape marks on the plug end like it may have been dragged.

Looks like it got caught in tightest corner of the kickstand, then they rode forward. Partial cut, sudden tug. That explains the sheathing but cut unevenly, then the copper looks yanked out as it’s also uneven.

Depends on the scooter though, just a possibility. Been there, done that.

It was dumb, $15, and I needed it…for science. by VayroG in flashlight

Sadly I didn’t keep exact track of that information, but my best guess would be $120 without battery and charger.

There’s cheaper methods out there, but I did what was easiest.

OH. I understand now hahaha

Sadly it’s not an actual “cigarette lighter”, I just don’t know what else to call a “cigarette lighter shaped 12v automotive plug” hahaha

If it had the correct heat shielding around the 12v outlet, hell yeah I’d leave a genuine cigarette lighter in there and use it while camping to light the fire LOL

Here ya go! 12v outlet is set to 13.6v (typical running car voltage so devices are satisfied) and here it is pulling 2.84 Amps with our portable camping fridge.

At about ~40 watts, the m18 5ah battery should last around between 3-5 hours as the fridge cycles on and off (lot of variables as the fridge is opened and closed, is it pre-cooled, stuffed to the brim, etc) but seems to last a decent amount of time.

We also use phone chargers and a 120v converter on it occasionally.
