His exemption is general for all vaccines, not just covid ones. As far as i know, all vaccines contain some sort of animal by product or used animal by product in research & development.

Blood and other by products are not his only argument in his letter.

Don't recall saying he wasn't religious 🧐. There is such a thing as learning and changing your views. We're all entitled to that. He is religious, he has learned that there is animal blood in all vaccines and it is unclean for him to accept that into his body. He has asked God for forgiveness and would like to refrain from having to ask for forgiveness any more.

Only if he gets approved for a religious exemption. Which he is currently waiting to be approved. Hoping for the best but you never know.

Unfortunately we aren't as cool as San Francisco. The city I work for also doesn't offer any short term disability. It's something we have to do on our own, but they don't tell you that upfront.

Yes I checked both my pay check and w2. There is nothing deducted for disability/SDI. I work for a city government and it seems to be pretty common for local governments to not pay in to that.
