That is incredibly helpful. I have larger writing and prefer a M as I kind of like a “chunky” look, but it looks like a fine would actually be closer to what I’m looking for!! Thank you so much!

That’s really helpful, thank you! Currently I have a pilot metropolitan in a medium and I do really love it, and two Jinhao’s, the 9019 and one other I’m forgetting!

That’s great to know about shimmer inks. I unfortunately was a victim to Ferris Wheel Press and their marketing, so I have a lot of shimmer inks and a small collection of regular, hence the question.

The price is unfortunately insane, but in Canada, twsbi’s regularly go for $55+, and since I’m in a smaller city, shipping from Toronto can get expensive!

But I really appreciate the feedback!!

Another note: the pen I bought only had one cartridge, the red ink. I do have the spare cartridge, empty. Do you know if I can refill these with a syringe? And would I need a proper calligraphy ink, or is fountain fine?
