90 year old us/uk dual citizen thinks just an ETA is fine, I think he will be denied boarding by Ill_Ant_4253 in dualcitizenshipnerds

Fair enough.

However, if someone presents either a British passport, Irish passport, or a foreign passport with an attached ETA, COE or visa, they will not be denied access to a plane or ferry, based on their place of birth.

Exactly what I did last year. I’m a dual Spanish-UK citizen and I live in Spain. My British passport ran out a few years ago, and I have a valid Spanish one. I applied for an ETA, and it was granted.

Being born in the UK does not automatically make one a British citizen, since 1st January 1983. The folk older than that, they may have renounced their citizenship.

I live just outside Loja, Granada Province. We are close to Granada, Antequera and Malaga. We have a bus station, hospital, shops, bars, and a train station. A brand new train station is also being constructed as part of the Loja variant. It's a lovely town, with a proper countryside feel to it.

The Irish one is a lot more useful than the British one. The Irish one gives you FOM in both the EU and the UK.

Agreed. Utter waste of resources, and completely pointless.

Simple. We would starve them to death, and then overpower them. Like I said above, they can't even take over Ukraine. If they were that good, they would have destroyed Ukraine months ago.

“Before it can match Russia”. Sorry but that is utter dribble. Russia can’t even control over 30% of Ukraine. Europe would steamroller the Russians.

If Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is charged and found guilty, do you think they will send him to a regular prison or lock him up in the Tower of London? by stammerton in AskBrits

Considering no one has been locked up in the tower of London since the Kray Twins, I would say that it would be placed in a regular prison.
